If Jerry Sullivan can teach Ace and D.R. some tools to put in they're tool kit and one of these guys emerge to become our Percy Harvin and they can do it on a consistent bases out the slot i'm a happy camper. But its kind of the same pick but if Caldwell and Gus have a plan i'm amped to see how it plays out ace and denard handing off to each other on a double reverse? Denard running a little read option with Mojo and Ace standing in the same backfield ? We shall see.

How does Denard stack up as a passer with Pat White?

Pat White was more accurate but Denard has a more lively arm.
(Don't tell Denard I said that he wasn't accurate.)

Pat White is perhaps the least accurate QB to ever take a snap in the NFL. If Denard is even less accurate, my mind is blown.

According to what i'm hearing Caldwell says that Denard will be playing RB and they are comparing him to Chris Johnson. Might want to pump our brakes on this one he hasn't played RB on a consistent basis and I don't think him and C.J. are even the same size Denard looks smaller than C.J. But this is the type of pick the Jaguars fans love a guy they can Identify with unlike unknowns that Gene was use to drafting I know the city was amped when his name was called. If he balls out and makes big plays on Sundays Denard will be a legend in Duval County.

Denard's taller and heavier then CJ.

If thats the case I don't see why he can't touch the rock 20x a game. Only thing I feel will hold him back is getting those touches from the RB position but if he can adjust to that he could be a real steal out the draft. Caldwell said the biggest thing he took away from minicamp is the lack of speed well I guess he addressed that in the draft we should be a lil faster this year.

How many guys touch the ball 20x a game? How many of them are drafted in round 5?

And they would have used him more as a WR, I bet. Or as Bush's backup.

Just because they don't, doesn't mean they can't.

That said, he's going to be better as a 10-15 touch guy.
