Well, this almost certainly means Amano is gone. Laughing Laughing

Is it going to be an open competition at center? McShay is saying praises for this guy.

Mayock loves him too.

But with Velasco, this pick makes no sense whatsoever.

With how it normally goes, we will cut Velasco and start Amano. Rolling Eyes

Well, worst case scenario we can feel a lot more confident at guard and center if one of them goes down. Or they may just not view Velasco as the long-term answer (which I wouldn't quite understand).

Picking depth players this early(when we already have depth players at the position, on top of that), is so stupid, unless you're some Patriots-like team who is winning 12-13 games every year and all you need is depth.

Whatever, I guess.

It's the fourth round, not the second. If you're taking a player in the fourth that you want to play big reps in his rookie year, you are in real trouble. Plus, we may just not have a DE on our board that we feel is decent value at this point.

What are you talking about. We're not going to find an immediate starter at any position in the 4th. All starters are filled so all we're going to get is depth players and possible future starters which Schwenke surely can be. Velasco might not be the long term answer.

Congrats guys, you got a steal here.

Levitre - Schwenke - Warmack

That's as solid as it gets. Chris Johnson is salivating.

OMG!!! Excellent value here. Taking this kid at this spot is highway robbery, gotta LOVE this pick. Dancing

He's definitely our future starter, and it COULD be this season if Velasco goes down.

I don't mean people who aren't going to be immediate starters. I mean people who aren't seeing the field unless someone gets hurt. Someone like Jesse Williams would get playing time, just for an example. We didn't even need o-line depth. It wasn't a need, it's not a guy who is going to play barring an injury..that isn't something you do in the 4th.
