There are no reaches on day 3. If you like a guy and have a feeling he could be gone before your next pick you take him.

Plus, most of these 'draft niks', don't know a quarter of the information NFL GM's do. They don't personally workout these players with NFL coaches.

Not sure who this dude is. Suspect he'll be OG depth with the potential of taking the RG spot in a few years.

I have no clue who this guy is. With that said, I do think Silatolu got better towards the end of the year. He seemed to be just playing instead of thinking, which is what I believe lead to those false start penalties. I believe the jump from last year to next will be huge for him. This guy is small school too but it seemed he wasn't as dominant. So I don't know. From the footage I saw it looked like he lacked any drive to do anything worth a damn. Hope I'm wrong.

I suppose we could have gone a different direction, but I'm happy with another hog mollie.

Anyone heard Gettleman say the word 'guard', by the way? It's awesome. It sounds like gaaaahd.

He's from up north, it's a whole different dialect up there.

They worked him out they watched the tape we haven't.

Don't trash unless you know something.

Will compete for RG or LG spot.

Think of it this way--

How good to you have to be to get the attention of multiple NFL teams and scouts if you play offensive line at Valdosta State?

Years ago, I played football in the Southern Conference. We had 1 player drafted very late in the draft. Three others signed undrafted free agent contracts. Of these four players, all became starters, 2 became all pros. One is the leading scorer of all time for the Colts.

Chances are much greater that you will not be discovered than you will be overrated. Still, anyone can bust.

For what its worth Gettleman did his homework on this one. Guy had offers from Alabama, Georgia & Florida, but didn't score high enough on his SATs.

if silatolu proves to be a player and this guy can get coached up and grab the other guard spot our size inside will be tough to deal with. especially with kalil being so agile and good at pulling. interesting potential
