Just needs another tackle and a WR/KR.

Winston and Swope?

If we draft Ryan Swope, I'll be livid.

Why?

I just think he is an awful prospect. His 40 time is incredibly misleading, he probably runs a 4.6 on gameday and then while running routes he's slower. Concussion problems etc.

Yeah, so slow in and out of cuts, he had his best games against SEC teams. Yep he is overrated. Complete garbage. I don't think you truly watched him. If you did, you would see a guy that made plays after the catch, when the ball was in his hands he turned into a RB, and has toughness.

Laughing Laughing

Seriously? He has the shortest arms in the draft, the smallest hands in the draft. Slow in and out of cuts. I'm sorry dude, I wouldn't draft him.

I agree with this. He has no natural hands and body catches most of the time. He is a better route running version of Gates. He'll get open but that'll be useless in the end. Thought he was all hype after his 40. Still wouldn't call it a bad pick in the 5th.

Gates was fast. They aren't similar at all.

They both put up a 4.34. They are both fast, though Swoope has much more experience running routes.

Gates ran a 4.34 and plays like he runs a 4.34, he just cannot catch.

Swope ran a 4.34 and everyone hoped he would hit a 4.54. That tells you everything you need to know.

I had a feeling he would put up a high number, not 4.34 but he was known for creating separation and his deep plays.

Finally the Dolphins have addressed depth. Nearly every position has either a quality backup, or a young player with potential.

I still want to see the Dolphins address the following in draft/FA:

QB- I want Matt Barkley
RB- I like Miller, but who else is there?
WR- Without Bess there is room for 1-2 WR
TE- Who can block? Get me Dion Sims or Toilolo
OT- Ideally the Dolphins find a young OT today and then sign Eric Winston.
MLB- Spitler is quality ST, but I don't really want him ever on the field on defense.

I saw this on page one and....well done.

With the exception of QB and WR the team hit on everything you wanted, even going after Sims....

Pretty awesome to consider Nolan Carroll and Jimmy Wilson went from the #2 and #3 corners to #5 and #6. This can only help us Laughing

I like wilson because he can also play safety in a pinch. As for Carroll.....he gives me nightmares. He's awful

He isn't great, but he was better than all the other options last year. He will be a solid 4th-5th CB like he should be going forward.

Carroll/Marshall could flip over to S and make for interesting prospects.
