not sure how I feel about this pick, he was my second rated player left but we need DE depth more then OL depth right now.

I would have liked a DE at this spot, but we need to draft from our board and not by need.

I agree. now i dont know what there board looks like but my board had William gholston ahead of him. and jesse williams right behind him. I do like the pick because it means a certin player not to be named is gone. and i think he is great insurance for the interior OL.

We were ready prior to this pick. Otto/Stingley/Turner/Spencer.

Most teams only go with 8 o-linemen on the roster anyway. Otto/Turner/Spencer would have been fine as the depth. Spending picks this high on depth is so dumb. We have actual needs. O-line depth, after this FA and Warmack in the first, isn't one.
Or we may realize that Chris Spencer isn't actually good, we haven't seen a ton from Otto or Stingley and Velasco and Rob Turner are each only working on one-year deals.

It creates true competition. Spencer and Turner are one year deals and if they don't win the job they will be cut anyway most likely. Otto might be cut too because he was costing too much money.

Velasco was a top ten C last year..why on earth would we take Schwenke?

And he is only under contract for next year. He could leave, also on the other side of it Schwenke could be much better and win the job in TC. Time will tell, but I think this is a good pick.

He also has starting experience at G so he should be good depth.

Munchak said the Titans have been interested in addressing Dline but the right guy hasn't been there when they've picked #tntitans

Guys I still want us to snag:

Poyer
J. Williams
D. Rogers (Honestly 6th round pref.)
T. Bray

I don't want the last two just because of UT ties. Bray is honestly the most talented arm in the draft. He's just a headcase. Same with D. Rogers. If they can turn it around mentally, they could be a big deal. I'm not a believer in Locker right now.

Poyer is my favorite CB in this draft.

I agree. The D-Line is weak this year. That is why it was so much debate about the top picks. Because in normal drafts they would have maybe been lower 1st or 2nd round pick.

Schewnke ranks higher than most of those DL players left by long shot.

I just don't see Bray's issues as correctable. Not at this point. He's too old to be throwing beer bottles at cars. That's not a maturity issue. That's a complete lack of judgement and character issue. And his tattoo sucks out loud. Bad judgement there, too.

Da'Rick has much more potential to get things straightened out, IMO. But I'm kind of WR-ed out at this point. Personally, I do not want him.

Unless I'm mistaking, I believe Jordan Poyer is still on the board. We could probably solve that problem. Just saying. Wink

the way we've been drafting (best player avalible) I think we could go WR, or even RB. there are still a lot of good players at both positions.

DL, Safety --- i said that last time too.

Let's pick what we don't need and see if that's a good predictor:

FB, P, PK, OL,
