Well we must really not care about our D-line. I don't like this pick we need depth in the WORST WAY on the D-line. With Cornelius Washington and Jesse Williams still on the board...sheesh

With the lack of DL being picked, I'm guessing they are going to use Ayers A LOT as an edge rusher. Makes it seem even more likely with them drafting another LBer.

I like Schwenke. Not sure if we need him but I like him nonetheless.

We took Schwenke. Can't be mad. Lot of people wanted him on these boards. We currently have a ton of competition on the o-line, especially interior. Velasco/Schwenke will push each other. Depth is crucial on the o-line, they take the most beating. We saw this last season.

I feel like the team really likes Sammie Lee Hill, but I don't know what they see at DE after our starters. Solomon? Ayers? Klug??

I'm good with this, DE is still a need. Hope we can pick someone up in the next round.

Forgot to add, with that pick, we are that much closer on sending Eugene Amano on his happy trails Smile Maybe he can go to the Jets and reenact the butt fumble with Sanchez/Geno

not sure how I feel about this pick, he was my second rated player left but we need DE depth more then OL depth right now.

We don't need a DT at all but we do need a DE!

And he is only under contract for next year. He could leave, also on the other side of it Schwenke could be much better and win the job in TC. Time will tell, but I think this is a good pick.

I would have liked a DE at this spot, but we need to draft from our board and not by need.

Very true. Let's not forget how many linemen we had go down last year. They were all serviceable at best, but the offensive line overhaul is complete now. All of the lineman on the roster won't make the team obviously. But

Roos / Levitre / Velasco(Schwenke) / Warmack / Stewart is phenomenal.

EXACTLY. Look how O-line depth screwed us last year, now we are ready if some of them go down again

We were ready prior to this pick. Otto/Stingley/Turner/Spencer.

Most teams only go with 8 o-linemen on the roster anyway. Otto/Turner/Spencer would have been fine as the depth. Spending picks this high on depth is so dumb. We have actual needs. O-line depth, after this FA and Warmack in the first, isn't one.
