Edit- Our entire draft class is as follows. 11 total picks. What do you guys think?

18: Eric Reid, S (31+74)
40: Tank Carradine, DE (34 for 40+216+future 3)
55: Vance McDonald, TE (61+173 for 55)
88: Corey Lemonier, OLB (93+216)
128: Quinton Patton, WR
131: Marcus Lattimore, RB
157: Quinton Dial, DL
180: Nick Moody, ILB/STer
237: BJ Danies, QB
246: Carter Bykowski, OT
252: Marcus Cooper, CB

My take: Great haul so far. Love the trades (we didn't overpay once), love that we filled needs at S, DE, TE and OLB, and love getting a 3 next year. I'm also extremely happy we didn't overpay in a trade up. Lot of (unsubstantiated) rumours had us trading up very high, spending our 34th pick, etc.

About the players themselves, i am unsure. But we have one of the best defensive coaching staffs and FO's in the league. If Tomsula, Leavitt, Donatell are lobbying for these guys then that says a lot.

Love Carradine/Lemonier. Really like Reid. Don't like McDonald (don't necessarily hate the pick, but I definitely don't like it). All in all, an A- for me, which is the highest I've given in a long time.

LOVE IT! Had Tank as my first pick so I love the pick and value. Reid was my #2 safety and Lemonier was a steal. Not sure about McDonald to tell you the truth but it seems the head scratcher's that Baalke selects often times become the studs so we'll see. (hint, put a poll up for grades)

I really really love this draft thus far. Can't wait until football season starts going again to see what kind of impact some of these players can bring. I really think Reid is a perfect fit for our defense with his physical style of play and pairing him up with Dontell will benefit him greatly. Tank pick was amazing, not to mention the 49ers did a hell of a trade with the Titans and received good compensation in return. McDonald was an alright pick in my opinion and would of preferred Kelce personally, probably my least favorite pick out of the bunch. Also love the Lemonier pick... has great potential, great size for an olb, athletic, and that could potentially become a solid pass rusher for us.

Us as fans cannot be mad at the draft so far. every pick has adressed a position we needed. these guys watched hundreds more hours of film than we did so I concede that they are better talent evaluators then us.

Reid- B: I love the position they chose but I feel like Cyprien would have been a better pick. can't be mad though

Tank- A: One of the biggest steals of this entire draft
Vance- A-: I love the versatility Vance brings he is a strong rout runner and one of the biggest best blockers in the draft.
Lemonier- A: Future star has all the skills to be a Von Miller type player.

I'm curious...why does everyone think Crypien was better? Everything I've read indicate that he's an in the box safety who has questionable balls skills and didn't play top notch competition. I really don't get why he was held in such higher regard to Reid.

I am liking this draft a lot. I think we got some real studs so far that will make a huge impact. I think we take another DB, maybe another DL, and either a WR or QB and I think we're done. Anyone we pick tomorrow is just icing on the cake. Tomorrow will be picks that could be the boom or bust type.

So far from what I've read on here:

1st round: we like the pick, a little surprised by it but we knew we like him.

2nd round A: we love this pick. Absolute steal of a potential star

2nd round B: we don't love it but could turn out to be decent if he accepts kaeps rocket passes.

3rd round: we love it, another steal of a potential star.

For tomorrow:

4A: Jesse Williams

4B: Da'Rick Rogers or CB

5: Brian Schwenke or Barrett Jones

...and whoever with all the 7th rounders we have.

I'd give this an overall A- for us; as far as needs and quality goes.

Anyone care to make any pro comparisons for our 4 players? Or have a website that makes decent pro comparisons? Those always help you visualize the potential impact a player can make.

Pass rushers and a quality safety. I like it.

If we could land Poyer I wouldn't care what we did the rest of the way.

some quick ones that i see from what i see

reid= a younger dashon (before his coverage got better). ive also heard barron.... same thing for me

carradine= tough one for me. guess i dont pay enough attention to teams de's. maybe cameron wake? another possibly michael bennet?

mcdonad= james casey. (not because theyre white). both are diverse and tools, dont see either as great wrs, but good all around

lemonier= ahmad brooks. both have a very similar game to me

Anyone who read my posts just before the draft already knows that I just LOVE this draft. I saw S, TE and DE as our biggest needs. I wrote in the move up thread that I wanted us to bundle a few picks to get a handfuI of really good guys to meet those needs. And that's just what we did.

- I said I wanted Vacaro or the next best S - we did that

- I said I wanted Tank or Hunt - we did that

- I said I wanted Ertz or the next best TE - we did that

- I was hoping for a corner - but that's only beccause I thought the contract situation there was uncertain for next year. I'm even happier with a pass rusher.

I even said what would surprise me most about this draft would if I was surprised by how it went. We could have taken a different S, or maybe taken ertz and then tried to move up for Hunt. But by and large the draft has gone exactly as I thought it would ... and I love it so far.

There are still some needs we can address with our reaming picks. If we do I'll end up thinking this was a near perfect draft for us ... of course, until we see how the guys pan out.

For Cardadine how about a young Justin Smith Laughing

As for McDonald I actually think a great analogy for his physical attributes and his skill set is ... Delanie Walker. OK, let's hope with better hands though.
