Look for the raiders to sign
Devan Walker OLB- Southeatern Louisiana State.

The Raiders already had him in for a predraft visit which was odd for a small scholl unranked player.
He is a OLB that rushes the passer. His coverage and tackling is not impressive but the kid LIVES behind the LOS.I dont knwo in what capacity they see him...bulking up to be a third down DE, or playing at his natural weight(240) and being a ruch OLB in a 34 set, but He was the only street FA that actually came to alameda(I call him a street Fa, becuase he was unranked).

Sounds kinda like Kaelin Burnett

Excited about Bass. Was hoping for pass-rusher early on but Reg got one in the end. His production is ridiculous and he has a canny knack for batting down balls as well as getting pressure on the QB.

we signed verner WR from duke, excellent hands, played on the outside at duke but might be the move the chains slot receiver that we have lacked for years because Al never considered "quickness" to be a positive football trait

Nope.

Chargers signed him.

I can't believe we signed David Bass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes!

He is going to be a VERY good pick up at this spot. His stats in college are crazy. Regardless of competition, this guy did the best at where he was. Holds the school record for sacks, so we know he can rush the passer. We have our future RE people. A year under Andre Carter is going to be great for him.

Happy about Latavius Murray, as well. Has a cool running style. His brother DaMarco is pretty good, so we have some bloodlines to work with.

Overall, LOVED this draft.

Tay Murray and Damarco arent related Laughing

... Seriously? They look identical, though. Damn, man. What are the chances.

Naw man Tay is from NY i played against him in HS and Demarco is from Las Vegas. I didnt realize until you said it and I looked at pics but they do kind of look alike Shocked

Laughing that's what I'm saying, man. They look so alike it's crazy that they're not related.

Forgot that Butler was originally recruited and coached by our WR coach. Like the pick a lot better now.

As in you think he'll get canned before next offseason?

Because firing the GM for poor production out of his early draft picks in the same year is common practice. Al Davis isn't running this team anymore and from all accounts, Mark Davis is content with just being the owner and letting his GM run this team. Reggie isnt going anywhere for at last another two season IMO. Mark sat and watched what constant turnover in the HC/pesonnl department does to a team. He's building this team the right way... Finally.

So 3-4 rookies should start and tear it up in order for our GM to be safe? Thank god you're nowhere near our front office...

Plus Reggie has a 5 year contract that 100% Guarenteed, so yeah we are gonna sign him to a 5 year deal then fire him after 2 and then pay him for 5.............Brilliant.

And we will then secure the great GM services of who?

SoCall appears to be a troll.
