We have Charles, Draughn, and we drafted Cyrus Gray last year.. McCluster even gets carries. I don't think this was a wise 3rd ROUND pick, there is other positions we could have used this pick on. So far not a fan.

As well, don't forget about Patrick DiMarco and Nate Eachus.

Just try to keep in mind that Davis was a 5 star recruit out of high school. He has an elite combination of speed and size. If he can get back his short area quickness, this pick will end up being a HUGE steal for us. He was on his way to being the next Run DMC before he got injured. He's a beast.

Draughn, DMX and Gray all lack at least one of the traits Davis has. The pick makes a lot of sense if you think it through.

Alright. You're making a lot of good points. I feel a little better about this pick. Now, we just wait and find out.

Yes Reid is going to have fun but I would have preferred some defensive help.

I thought the same thing but then realized that we have the 99th pick which makes them pretty much back to back so tomorrow I'm hoping for some defensive help.

Ryk...what's up with the fumble issues? I don't recall too many Arkansas RBs with that issue. Why wasn't this fixed? Seems like some were from poor ball placement.

With 5 picks left I have to think at least 4 will be on D. WR and IOL are the only positions in O that you could make a claim for.

Still want Phillip Thomas or Rambo.

One of those and Reddick would look GREAT

Pretty much every RB the Hogs have had over the last 10 years has struggled with fumbling. Hillis still struggles with them to this day. Felix Jones and DMC both had huge questions in that regard pre-draft, too. Dennis Johnson is really the only RB we've had who DIDN'T have big concerns about ball security and he lacks any elite physical traits to capitalize.

If you guys remember, Charles had a lot of issues with ball security when he was drafted, too. It's a coachable deficiency. The only thing I'm relatively concerned about is his durability because once a bone or ligament is injured once, it's easier to mess it up a second time.

Dude tore A&M up a few years ago. My only real knock on this pick is it seems kinda like a luxury pick because of Charles and I love Gray in Reid's offense, and because we really need defensive help at ILB and safety. Really was hoping for Shamarko Thomas and Sean Porter with this pick and our 4th rounder.

Bama does have a tendency to make teams best players look like crap so I'll give you that.

Just seems like we've got overkill at the RB position now.

Hoping this means we're running the ball more then I'm thinking an Andy Reid offense does.

Sad, but true. Crying or Very sad

I was expecting him to come off the board early-mid 4th round, so I guess it seems about right. Maybe a slight reach based on his production and fumblitis this season, but his potential makes up for that reach if we're solely talking about draft stock.

We think it's a luxury pick but I don't think Dorsey does. I'd be scared if Shaun Draughn is my #2 halfback.

Yes Reid is going to have fun but I would have preferred some defensive help.

I feel like we are set on defense with all the off season moves we had made so far. We can wait to the later rounds to address it. I really hope that we continue to add offensive players at this point. I would love for us to get Barkley. Top 5 pick last year falling to us in the 4th or 5th and can still grow by sitting.

Rather have Bray, better arm more talent, more of a headcase but could benefit from Alex and Reid and sit a couple years.

I'll pass on both, please. Dyseratops for the win.

So who's gonna start at ILB next to DJ? Who's gonna play safety when Lewis gets hurt? Who's gonna rush the passer from the interior?

I won't cry if we take a WR in the next few picks, but that's about the only offensive position we can warrant taking at this point. Need a Safety, ILB, and one gapper on the inside.
