If that were the case we'd have a more Bengals-esque draft with a lot of ESPN and NFLN 'name' players.

I would say a blindfolded technique probably works best.

Never heard of this guy, but his tape isn't all bad. He had a productive 2011 season. Seems to be fairly athletic and has good size. Looks like a 4-5th round prospect and can still develop. At the end of the 3rd, it's still a reach but the Tavon Wilson pick was much worse. Hope he can bring it. I love his name though. Very intimidating for a Safety.

Isn't that, like, abnormal for a human? His hands must barely reach his hips Laughing

Is that usually long for a DB?

Go watch Logan Ryan's game vs Va Tech. Harmon played a good game. Came over in single high support to break up passes, and looked good in the run game.

That too. They have a dart board set up and they just pick whatever name they hit.

Watch the you tube video and you will puke. Wasted pick. Does The Rutgers coach have naked pictures of BB.

This kid is a ST player are you kidding me. Jones is sitting there and they take this crap. Jones plays all OL positions. That makes him 1000 times better than this stiff.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4BKf-miCtM

Look at the 16 sec mark. Good effort !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just saw this now and started screaming... "HE'S NOT EVEN DOING ANYTHING", It also looks like he wanted to get blocked on some of those plays.

I don't get it, as i said before, if BB really like this guy than fine, take him but why in the world will you do it in the 3rd round? you really can't "gamble" just a little bit and try to get him later on? because odds are he will still be there, rather it be in the 4th or if you traded down from the 4th and get a 5th or 6th, risk it.

He would of probably been there on one of our three 7ths.

I mean at 1:47 he just gave up a huge TD play that was simply dropped, what was he doing?

4:16-4:35... horrible.

Maybe BB thought he got Logan Ryan and Harmon wit the same pick?? Everyone keeps talking about those 2 as some sort of tag team.

I want to throw up, what a waste. [not because of that 30 inch arms thing alone, but the video and the draft position in which we took this guy in]

Eh the pick puzzles me but Bill knows more than any of us.

I mean he basically was our fourth rounder. Grinds the gears we didn't take Bailey but whew nothing to do now. Grab one more wideout and focus on the OL.

Rest of the draft was fine for me. Thus pick? Nope.

Could be worse. We could be Jets fans.

I think it is ridiculous how people react here. They aren't even going to give this guy a chance to prove himself on this team. It's lame.

OMG Bill picked a guy higher than everyone else in the draft had him rank. Oh the humanity. He's never done that before.

You'd think people would be used to it by now, so they could react like reasonable humans.

It would also make the trade down from 29 look that much better, although I wonder if the Vikings would have been so generous if they knew the Patriots were desperate to trade down.

The trade was only very slightly in the pats favour according to the traditional trade value chart, it's not like the Pats made out like bandits.

This was probably not a typical draft. In that it was weak at the top, but deep. For instance, Jamie Collins probably would have been the pick in the first. They drafted him in the 50s (thus they can pay him less, that cannot be overlooked) and picked up other draft picks.

Also that draft chart was made years ago, and probably overvalues higher picks compared to lower round picks.

Rutgers S Duron Harmon is destroying people out there right now. Good size and an intriguing late round prospect.

Four months ago by a Scouts Inc guy.

Harmon can lay the boom. That is for sure.

Problem is some people aren't going to be willing to give him a fair shot because he was a third round pick rather than a 5th or 6th round pick.

I actually like his play style.. Though he needs to work on angles more

But seriously 3rd rd?
Couldve traded up from 2 or three 7th rders into 5th-7th rd and drfated him and it would be a steal

Not here when you look at whos still available
Couldve gone Jones for Oline depth and competition at the gaurd and center position

Then another WR...Patton anyone?
