Had a feeling we were going to take defensive line, and I was tempted to ask how everyone would feel about him yesterday. Still surprising, though.
Great player, just not sure if it was the right pick. But Gettleman did say he was going BPA. _________________

Like the player, but would've preferred a starter at another position.

With only 5 picks we needed to address other areas. _________________

Our defensive line may be the best in the NFL next season. I hope there is a plan for WR though. Either that of Gettleman knows something we don't. Maybe Gettis is ready to go. |

Edwards is old and we got some pieces at cb and safety in FA.
Think Giants DL and who they put in the back. _________________

We signed Hixon and Ginn and have other younger players. 4th round can still get a WR _________________

Gettleman said Short was at the top of the board, and I believe him, I didn't like any secondary guy here as a good value.
Short should fit in nicely at UT with Star at NT. Goes from a position of major weakness to a strength. Which is always what you want out of the draft.
You aren't going to fill all your needs out the draft. The Fua and McClain picks from a couple years ago show don't just pick a player because he fills a 'need'. _________________
