I really wish I could find my post on here where I said Belichick might covet Collins so he could have another LT to work with. Pretty sure it was in one of the irrelevant threads, but I can't find it.

No, but that one is good too. I think it may have been on the ESPN boards, which would suck.

How'd you beat anyone to it? I saw a post of yours without the sig after CP started wearing it and I made it so you surely didn't beat me to it.

Gotta say, Im not big on people using my work when someone else is using it... CP?

Too many teams running a 3-4 that could use Collins to have him drop to 29. IMO it's more likely he goes top 15 than between 16-40.

really glad you were wrong lol

Totally your call my man. I personally don't have a problem with it, but as you said, it is your work, so I will leave it in your hands. I understand your perspective. I appreciate you making for me.

Jmacz, maybe you could ask Deadpulse if he'd make you a Duron Harmon sig, those are hot commodities right now! Laughing

Coach Bill Belichick traveled down to Hattiesburg to work out Collins earlier this winter and the two watched film together. Collins said the visit went positively and that he felt comfortable communicating with the Patriots' coach.

Two years in a row the Pats have taken my favorite LBs in Hightower and Collins. I wish him the best with the Patriots Evil or Very Mad

I'm starting to think Jamie Collins might be our first pick. Either via a trade back to the early 2nd or even at 29 at this point, I really like what I see there.

I would not complain at all. Go for the physical freaks in this draft and try to hit a home run, because there aren't many singles and doubles to be had.

Yeah really seems like a year to stockpile picks for next year, we'll see. But its tough because this defense still needs an infusion of talent and depth that really hasn't come via FA to this point.

Well, they still need to sign a veteran pass rusher in my estimation, but Collins could be an LT clone for Belichick to mold. That could push the defense forward in huge ways, especially if he took over as a starter outside if and when (emphasis on the when) Spikes departs. They need another DT, a couple receivers and a secondary player too, but I don't think that's all coming in the draft, and I'd rather see them focus on value later on. Barrett Jones will likely be available in the mid-rounds due to his injury situation, and I'd love a flier taken on Glenn Foster out of Illinois.

There you go
