Niners are second, and Zach Ertz and CBs will be considered there. Also heard the Lions could well take WR Justin Hunter at 36.

Pretty much in line with the speculation.

Hunter would be nice in this offense. I've seen A.J. Green comparisons. He isn't gonna be that good but I think he can be a lite version of him.

Then attack RG in the 3rd. Someone like Brian Winters if he's still on the board.
Allen really is the better player, Hunter is just more athletic.

Allen is quicker, more shifty, and still has great size for what we need. Plus he could return kicks ala Dez Bryant.

I like both and would be fine with either.

I just hope Mayhew can curb his enthusiasm for WR's and he drafts another lineman in the second. I don't care what position just get a lineman.

Agree 100%

I just have this sick feeling deep down he is going to take a RB and say "He was the #1 at his position" or take a WR and it just makes me sick.

Same here partner. My list includes:

Margus Hunt
Tank Carradine
Alex Okafor
Reasoning: Jason Jones isn't a pass rusher, and our defense calls for all of our starters being a threat to get to the QB. Jason could provide great depth at DT, and size at DE on running downs. He3 shouldn't be a full-time starter.

Larry Warford- Fox/Hilliard are gonna need a competent and hopefully good RG to help out on the right side of the line, just as Backus needed Sims.

Jamar Taylor- is better than every corner we have aside from Houston, and has the upside to become our #1 corner. Big, fast, physical, and has some ball skills. Day 1 starter I guarantee.

I think it'll come down to Warford vs Hunter and I believe Mayhew will go with Justin Hunter.

I still want Detroit to concentrate on Defense its like they said the Lions offense is one of the best Stafford has thrown for over 10k yards they can't stop anyone on defense.

So another Defensive end or OLB even a corner keep to the defense lets load some talent on that side of the ball let our offense go for one fricking draft and concentrate on defense.

Keep adding defense we lack a ton of talent on it~!

Overall, Allen is better than Hunter.

Things to consider though:

-Allens knee, which seems to be lingering

-Allens apparent failed drug test, which may or may not be a big deal

-Fit with us. Allen is best used in the slot, Hunter is best used on the outside. Also, while Allen is no midget, Hunters size and length have to be attractive for us considering Staffords inconsistencies with accuracy.

I give Hunter the nod.

Other guys in contention for me:

- Jamar Taylor
- Teo
- Watson
- Moore
- Escobar
- Carradine

I like Warford, and think he is a 2nd rounder, but I dont think he is even top 5 at current BPA.

I would take Watson over him.

One name I forgot to include, is Lemonier.

I just hope SF doesn't grab a WR so the Lions have the pick of who they want.
