A 2nd round CB in the 1st, and hes fast got Al Davis all over this one.

He's a good football player.

Mayock's #1 CB. Lots of other people were high on him too.

Hes a project that doesn't have much experience against elite competition the team needs starters not projects.

Eric Fisher must be a project too since he doesn't have a lot of experience against tough competition.

Fisher his freshman year played against Adrian Clayborn and in the 2013 Senior Bowl more then what I have seen from Hayden.

Hopefully Fisher is a bust hes in the AFC West. Razz

From a guy I respect in MIA forum.

Best Picks

Miami - Dion Jordan: Pass Rush always good
Detroit - Ezekiel Ansah: Pass Rush always good
Arizona - Jon Cooper: Needed Oline help badly
Oakland - DJ Hayden: Took the best CB in the draft
Carolina - Star Lotulelei: Best pick of the 1st IMO
Falcons - Desmond Trufant: Should replace Grimes with ease
Indianapolis - Bjorn Werner: Nice pick up after losing Freeney
Minnesota - Cordarrelle Patterson: Should be very good compliment to Jennings
Baltimore - Matt Elam: Defense should not skip a beat with the pickups of Dumervil, Huff, and now Elam

A project??? Dude you're trippin. He shut down LA Tech's #1 WR who will be drafted. And he killed UCLA. You can only play who is put in front of you and Hayden killed all of them.

Clinksdale picked Revis. DA is a former DB coach and I trust their assessment alot more than yours. Rolling Eyes

Love DJ. He's a hard worker and has major playmaking skills as a DB.

I want to see a video of him vs LA Tech's Quinton Patton still. Laughing

I did watch the UCLA game and he was on TE's too, and looked great.

Just really want to have seen him vs big top WR's though.

Even all the analysts on NFL Network were talking about how he shut Patton down to 38 yards receiving.

And if he is versitile enough to slide over and cover TE's at 5-11 then we are batting 1.000 with this pick.

Bottom line is that it is one pick and a talented kid. We still have 7 more picks to make and we have to hit on all of them.

I wouldn't mind the pick if Moore and Carradine are drafted. The dude has absolutely insane measureables.

Tall (6'8")
Fast (4.60)
Length (34" arms)
Size (280lbs)
Strength (38 reps)
Agility (7.07 3-cone)
Explosion (34.5" vert / 121" broad)

doesn't have a weakness at all. one of the best athletes I've ever seen. right up there with Calvin Johnson.

Laughing Expect being good at football.

Not a big fan of Ezekiel Ansah. He kind of runs into players with his chest rather than tackling them. That's going be a big problem in the NFL.

I think he should be moved inside to DT.
I see a lot of JJ Watts but you are right 25 year old rookies aren't worth it.
