I thought the strategy was to only draft green room players.

He is Great in press coverage and phisical should help us againt marshal johnson and nelson

I still question who exactly he'll cover when we play our division rivals.

I think Chris Cook has to match up with Calvin Johnson. No one else on our roster to date can cover him, and Cook's done a pretty good job in the past. This leaves Rhodes on Ryan Broyles perhaps.

Rhodes should match up on Jordy Nelson, whether he's playing slot or the outside. Cook will be matched up with James Jones, and that will leave Josh Robinson on Randall Cobb.

and finally, I'd have to imagine Cook matches up on Marshall. Again, who else on our roster has covered him in the past? Rhodes looks like a good fit to cover Alshon Jeffery.

and where does that leave AJ Jefferson? Hopefully strictly as the dime CB. He got burnt quite a lot last year.

The X - Man looks like a cross between Joey Browner and Carl Lee.

If I was coaching, I would put Cook on the opposing team's #1 each week. He is already a seasoned pro CB and has great size, as we know. Rhodes could work to shut down the opposition's #2 exclusively, given that I think he has #1 CB potential. So I kind of see us having 2 #1 CB's as opposed to a 1 and a 2.

A.J. Jefferson is terrible and is only considered decent on our board. He's an easily replaceable dime/quarter CB.

I think Josh Robinson might fare just fine in the slot. He has the agility for it, which is a requirement.

Cook-Xavier, could develop into a top man-2-man duo IMO

So here is the question, if Vikings management are going towards a man cover defensive scheme, does that change the type of LBs where looking to add with the remaining picks in the draft?

I think some of this has to do with Alan Williams. I would imagine more press coverage to try and help out the pass rush. That extra second could be all these guys need.

with Cook and Rhodes now, if we don't run a ton of press coverage I am going to lose my mind.

Don't sweat it! Sanity is way, way over-rated anyways.
