Safety is a huge need for us, and Cyprien is one of the best available players at the moment. I dont think he'll last to us, but if he does we need to jump on that. If we can't get him, I'm sure that one of the round 2 receivers (Woods, Hunter, Allen) will fall and we can grab him.

I'd stay away from TE in this round as that is not a glaring need like Safety or WR is. I'd also be LIVID if we drafted the Honey Badger. He is already planning his post draft party all over twitter, the kid hasn't learned a thing, and won't be in the league for long.

Jon Banks is also db keep in mind.

Heck no to Honey Badger in the 2nd he's a Packman Jones with a habit.

Im glad Im not the only one high on Banks. He won the Jim Thorpe Award winner, given annually to the top defensive back in college football. Hes not that fast but he has long arms and is a ball hawk.

Gimme one of those guys and I'll be a happy camper
I'd be cool with that.

What guards are available? Is that a possible darkhorse pick? It wouldn't be sexy, but I honestly couldn't say I'd have a big problem if they got good value on a RG or RT here.

Menelik Watson, OT, Florida State
G Larry Warford, Kentucky

I'm starting to think a free agent is the best route here. Watson is so raw I wouldn't be surprised if Bell beat him out for RT. I'm all for Warford though.

The pick I'd be most excited for is Jamar Taylor.

I'd be happy with cyprien, swearinger, jamar taylor or maybe even hunter. I think there might actually be a run on qb's in the top part of the 2nd round and that could benefit us. I think geno, barkley and nassib will go along with lacey and hopefully that leaves more options for us. thank you cam.

I think if Hunter is there then we have to take him. We need another playmaking WR and we won't be able to nab one in FA.

OL or S with this pick. I still think the Panthers can find a decent WR in the 4th round.

I think the Panthers are going to get the top player they are targeting. I see Geno, Nassib and Barkley coming off the board eating up 3 spots before the Panthers select at 44. I'd be happy with (in no particular order):

Larry Warford
Jonathan Cyprien
Justin Hunter
Zach Ertz
Menelik Watson
Tank Carradine

I'd prefer one of the others before Carradine, but honestly I wouldn't have much, if any, issue with any of those. OG ain't sexy, but I'm all about beefing up the lines. Safety is definitely a need. A playmaker outside to groom for Smith's eventual retirement would be great. A quality TE to pair with Olsen would be excellent, particularly one who is a good run blocker. OT as above.

Really can't go wrong there (assuming the player pans out, of course Laughing).

Robert Woods
Keenan Allen
Justin Hunter
Larry Warford
Tank Carradine
Alex Okafor
Robert Alford
Jamar Taylor
Jonathan Cyprien
DJ Swearinger

Guys I wouldn't be upset about having. At least a couple of them will fall to us. Also would be OK with Kawann Short, Johnthan Banks, Blidi Wreh-Wilson, Zach Ertz, and Damontre Moore I guess.

Would LOVE Cyprien.
Would like any S or WR worthy of the pick.
