Great value for the trade. Move up 13 spots and only give up 74.
I'm not too knowledgable on the player. Not to big a fan of spending a 1 and 3 on a FS, but if he turns out to be an great one it'll be worth it.
Baalke continues his trend of drafting for need in the 1st.
What can people tell us about Reid? |

I'm really happy with this pick. I loved the youTube videos on him and was confused as to why he never really got more love. We needed a starting FS and we ensured that we got him by trading up. Great start to the draft IMO _________________

I think with great pass rush and Ed Donatell preparing him and putting him in a position to succeed, he will do just fine.
Did we really need to get to 18 to get him? I could have seen the cowboys being interested in a S that high, but they didn't seem to value Reid enough to keep the pick and take him. I guess we just couldn't find a trading partner in the 20s. _________________

Exactly this. People can call it a reach all they want, but fact is, we got great value on the trade only giving up a 3rd. _________________

Would have preferred Cyprien, but Reid is decent too. Got our starting safety. _________________

Y'all aren't doing it right. We need to be disappointed with the selection for him to be good _________________

I'm gonna give this pick a B-, but with that said, I'm really excited to see how he turns out _________________

Yeah.. they have a huge hole at safety after they lost Craig Dahl... _________________
