WARMACK YES. It's Christmas come early. Munch didn't let me down.

Our Offense may stay on the field longer this year.

CJ actually has guys in front of him that can create holes and get to the second level.

Jake can step up into the pocket with a little more confidence.

Chance isn't injury prone.

Sends a message to Jake and CJ. The FO has their backs. Giving them every chance (on paper) to succeed.

Warmack publicly lobbied to come to the Titans. Highly visible Pre-draft loyalty will positively manifest in the locker room amongst the other players.

Eff JJ Watts Twisted Evil

We still have several picks. Now that we've got "our guy," we can focus on defense. Maybe bundle some of those picks and trade up?

HOFer? Wink

I see what you did there Wink Seriously though it's a good pick. I know many have reservations about taking a guard this high but we need to protect Locker and CJ and he will do it.

Love. This. Pick.

Take a DE (Carradine would be incredible) in round 2 and I'll be one happy camper.

Didn't catch this live, but had the draft recorded, and watched it in its entirety without spoiling for myself.

We were in a very good position, and wouldn't have surprised me if we moved down, but I LOVE this pick.

Roos - Levitre - Whoever (Aside from Amano) - Warmack - Stewart

Ladies and gentlemen, we have turned a weakness (Offensive line, though specifically interior line) into a strength for this team.

LOVE IT. Even better pass protection, exponentially better run blocking.

Chris Johnson is going to LOVE THIS. I'm loving it. This will also greatly help in short yardage.

If (and I'm not saying he WILL, but IF) Locker fails, at least we have an offensive line already built for another quarterback to step into.

Love it. Hope he brings his belly up to Tennessee as well.

Absolutely love this. The ONLY way the draft this year could be ruined for me (potentially) is if we take Manti Te'O in the second. But we won't.

I actually have some hope in this front office following Free Agency and the start of the draft Laughing. It's nice that they actually noticed (for once) that our line sucked, and fixed it.

A trivial question here...is the belly out a jersey violation in the NFL? Seems like something they wouldn't like.

Quote:
Warmack sat No. 2 on the Audibles Big Board for months, just behind Luke Joeckel. Of all the players in this draft, he might be the most capable of dominating at his position for the next decade.

Maybe he doesn’t run that well and get out into space the way that North Carolina’s Jonathan Cooper will. He also won’t lose many battles along the interior of the line, and he can handle any pass rush thrown his way.

Grade: A. This might end up going down as one of the best picks in the draft. The Titans let a little bit of chaos ensue above them, then grabbed perhaps the best lineman available — after four other linemen had been picked.

(on who called to tell him he was being drafted)

Actually, it was the secretary (Alesia Schulz), and then everybody else called after that, but I recognized who she was from my visit and it was funny. She was just like, ‘Hey Chance’ and after that I already knew who it was and I was kind of choked up at the moment and then I said, ‘Yes ma’am’ but she doesn’t like to be called ma’am.

(on if he is going to celebrate in New York City with his Alabama teammates that also got drafted)
I’m still trying to recap what’s going on. I’m still floating right now, so hopefully we will if I can come back down.

God I'm going to just love this guy.

I called it.

"How happy am I?"
"Happier than Kate Upton's bra in this gif".
Dancing Applause

Welcome to the Titans Chance!

This is why I wanted this pick. He will be a Pro Bowler in 2 years.
I think he would have been trully upset if he wasn't drafted by the Titans.

Quote:
Warmack savored the opportunity to play for Munchak and Matthews. Warmack said the two coaches ''put me through the wringer'' during a private workout with the Titans. He turned down opportunities to have private workouts with three other teams.

Quote:
Matthews, a Hall of Famer like Munchak, admitted he was skeptical heading into Warmack’s workout, “wanting to shoot him down at every turn.” But after spending time with him, Matthews said, he fell in love with the lineman’s attitude and commitment. Warmack even delayed getting a driver’s license until last year, “because my focus is on football 24/7.”

It feels great to draft someone who truly wanted to be Titan. CJ's happy. The coaching staff and front office is happy. I'm sure Jake is happy. And for the most part the fans are happy. It's a win for everyone (except Eugene Amano of course).
