Hidden in the debate over the 3 picks tonight for the Titans, which area that they feel the worse about WR or CB with the 40th pick. It will be an indictment on Mariani, Williams, Preston & Washington if they go WR in the 2nd or a bad sign for Campbell if they got CB at #40.

Like I have pointed out millions of times Mariani, Williams, Preston, Britt and Walter are all free agents after this season. While Verner is the only free agent after this season at CB, and I think we can resign him. Just something to think about, not saying which way they should go, but right now next year's draft class is not going to have the depth that this one does at WR or CB. Honestly I would like to see us move down a little in the 2nd unless we are targeting a player like Carridine, Hunter or Banks (who I think will go to the Jags).

Peyton Manning, Donte Stallworth, Robert Meachem, and Peerless Price couldn't win in spite of Dooley. Fear not.

I'm not sure how far Munch is looking past this season. I think all he can think about is right now. It's make or break time. If he has a choice between a player who can make an immediate impact vs one that will take a season to mature..he picks the former. His job is on the line.

So is CJ's. So is Jake's.

They have the proverbial Sword of Damocles hanging over their heads. Cornered animals tend to fight the fiercest.

How do you guys feel about our first 4 picks so far? And the draft in general?

Love Warmack and Hunter, really warming up to Gooden and Wreh-Wilson. Feel like all four can get a decent amount of snaps early on, with Warmack obviously starting from Day 1. Going to put my faith in the front office, feel like we've really improved this team this offseason.

I think Warmack will start day 1. Hunter has the ability too as well depending on the number of WR's we run in our sets.

Wreh-Wilson should challenge for the #2 spot and kick Verner back inside where he really belongs.

Gooden is a Zach Brown clone. He could be awesome to use in creative defensive sets as well as the Ruby package Gray likes to run.

I'm loving it all, and it started with Warmack. I think the coaches and FO is sending a clear message to Locker, CJ and the Titan nation early on that they're serious about making a push NOW. And they did that by getting the guys they wanted, being Warmack and Hunter. I have to applaud them for that. With Hunter in the fold, I'm thinking either Hawkins, Williams or Mariani is on the way out. Washington? Who really knows? I got much more to say involving the whole offseason, but I'm waiting till the draft is over. Right now, I'm just enjoying the ride.

Warmack = awesome
No Te'o = awesomer
s_camp = one happy fan

Love Warmack, no strong feeling on Hunter, like Wreh-Wilson, excited about Gooden's athletic abilities. Very interested to see what they do with Gooden.
