He's not an upgrade. I don't think we're gonna find a "true" upgrade that we can afford (pick or salary wide). We just need to roll with Pead as the lead and see what we really have with him. Just as we've learned what D-Rich really is...

I hope Fisher gets over this guy being in his dog house. I'd like to see him be given the opportunity that Richardson has been.

Tony Softli @SoftliSTL
Rams DC Tim Walton looked like he lost his best friend after practice today as he walked off the field alone.

I just spend 270$ on my 2 cars for my tags.
I'll have no problem paying his ticket back to Det.

6. Tavon Austin, WR, Rams: Our own Chris Burke recently went into great detail on how the Rams seem incapable or unwilling to use their first-round playmaker in space an issue that was shown in glaring detail last Thursday night when the 49ers beat St. Louis, 35-11, and Austin caught two passes on eight targets for six yards. This is less on Austin and more on offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer, who had a full offseason to put together a plan for a player who had electrified the NCAA.

This is why Fisher is Fisher. He made the mistake by giving his coordinators too much responsibility. He gave them multiple chances and recognized his mistake and will be more in control from here on out. Things will get fixed.

If the rams do make a RB change, who do you think gets the nod? I just cant see Pead, even though I want to. I see Cunningham getting the bulk of the carries this week.

Jeez.. Remember the days where there was no need to talk about RB.. We were lucky to have Jackson. Too bad he came in when he did. But for your question I think Cunningham would.. What happened to Stacy?? Maybe tavon will be our number one RB Laughing

Wow, I hope not. He has been terrible on the carries he has gotten, and even makes me want for Pead back as a Kick Returner.

At some point Fisher just has to roll with Pead

Agreed, Fisher had a part in drafting the kid as high as they did...

He's given several other Rams players with on-field/off-field issues multiple chances, don't get why he's not willing at this point to do the same with Pead...

You have to get an extended look at him this season in a significant role to evaluate what you have with him, just as they've done with Richardson...

It's funny you say that. As much as we criticized Pead for not being explosive enough to be a kick returner, Cunningham is even less explosive. That's just not his game. Our only real viable option back there is Tavon, but that'll never happen.

Explosiveness is the least of Pead's problems. Schottenheimer needs to get him in space. Just like Richardson. And Austin.

$270 for both? Man... mine was over $400 for just one of my cars.

On the point of Kick Returners, does anyone have any idea why we have Cunningham back there returning kicks? Not only does he not do well doing it, but he makes terrible decisions to bring the ball out from deep in the endzone. He just doesn't have the speed to return kicks well in this NFL where the kicks are so deep. Additionally, I credit his bone headed decision to come way out of the endzone with Matt Daniels season ending injury .
