I do like this trade, a vet WR. The only negative I see is he does fumble the ball, 16 times in 5 yrs.

Congrats to you guys Cle, you guys have a great WR in Devo.

As long as you don't run a WC Offense like we do know this guy will step on the field as a slot WR & catch anything in
short ydg he gets his hands on.

Great locker rm guy, tireless worker in the community & tough guy on the field.

Thanks for everything Devo !

He's a player I always notice in a game. This is a great pick up. Our receiving core looks well rounded. Size, speed, and clutch. A lot of congrats from dolphins fans on this thread is the cherry on top.

Every team can use a guy like him, in today's nfl people get too infatuated with whether a guy is a game breaker or not, he is never gonna just run by people but he knows that, he sets up defenders with moves and cuts and just gets open and if the ball hits his hands it sticks. 3rd downs just became a lot more manageable for us

Nothing at all. Seems like the WR roster is already filled out. Gordon, Little, Bess, Nelson, Benji. With Cooper and Norwood vying for a spot.

Nothing really, he's gonna be our 4th or 5th guy. His value will be on special teams.

Nothing really.

Benjamin is never going to make his money going over the middle as Bess does, they're very different players.

Just heard on NFLN that Bess is signed with a 3-year $11.5M contact extension. Still can't find any links.

Edit with details*
$5.75M guaranteed

Or maybe Kenny Stills / Da'rick Rodgers for the last roster spot- that could be nice!

I'm guessing the Browns made that trade partially b/c they didn't like the talent at WR...

But thats just my opinion.

WR Davone Bess has passed his physical with #Browns, his agent, Kenny Zuckerman, said. That means trade is official.
