Meh. He wasn't the worst in Detroit, but he didn't exactly thrive here... in a scheme which, at least on the surface, essentially seemed tailor made to help him shine. Rotational/depth guy for Minny I'd imagine, and one that won't do much of anything exciting.

Someone want to fill me in on this? As far as I'm concerned, he'll be strictly a depth player.

Let's just say that when mentioning the Vikings key offseason acquisitions, you probably won't mention Jackson.

Jackson, as the 4th DE, will probably never be active. If he even makes it to the regular season in MN.
