Our pre-draft vistees. I am going to mostly stick with these guys as its been proven to be an effective guide.

Pick 18 - traded to either Falcons (1.30 & 2.2Cool or the 9ers (1.31 & 2.31) for purposes of this, I am going to go with 9ers.

1.31 - E Reid - FS (Rated 32)

Trade: Cowboys trade their 3.18 and 2014 2nd with Cinci for pick 2.5

2.37 - M. Hunt - DT (Rated 34)

2.47 - D. Moore - DE (Rated 52)

2.61 - T. Fredrick - C (Rated 53)

4.114 - B. Williams - OT (Rated 103)

5.151 - J. Randle - RB (Rated 127)

6.185 - G. Hodges - LB (Rated 151)

Ratings according to CBS

1. Sylvester Williams, DT, UNC - With the Top 5 OL, Vaccaro and Richardson gone, we take our last 1st round rated prospect at a position of need.
2. Justin Pugh, OG/OT, Syracuse - Best available OL. He'll play OG for us.
3. D.J. Swearinger, FS, South Carolina - Best available FS
4. Joseph Randle, RB, Oklahoma St. - Insurance for Murray's yearly injury
5. Michael Mauti, OLB, Penn St - His ACL's are made of glass, but his instincts, leadership and work ethic make him a classic Jason Garrett RKG.
6. Ricky Wagner, OT, Wisconsin - Tough OT to battle Parnell for the starting spot.

If Denard Robinson is still on the board when we go on the clock, he will be a Cowboy. Jerry likes projects like that, but I think he will go earlier than that.

I think we stay put at 18, but we'll trade down in the 2nd round to pick up an extra pick in the middle rounds.

18 - Chance Warmack or Jonathan Cooper
*Trade with San Francisco (47 for 61 and 74)
61 - Terrence Williams, WR Baylor
74 - Oday Aboushi, OT/OG, Virginia
80 - J.J. Wilcox, S, Georgia Southern
114 - Joseph Randle, RB, OK State
151 - John Simon, OLB, Ohio State
185 - Mike Catapano, DE, Princeton

Quote:
TRADE UP The Cowboys trade Picks 18(1st) and 80(3rd) to the Dolphins for pick 12(1st) ("The top three tackles are off the board, the Dolphins like Menelik Watson but feel the 12th pick is too rich for him and decide to move down")

1st Round: (Pick 12) - Star Lotulelei DT : Similar to last year, the Cowboys see one of their players they covet fall past what they expected and are quick to trade up and grab him.

Quote:
TRADE DOWN The Cowboys trade Pick 47(2nd) to the Texans for Picks 57(2nd) and 95(3rd)

Reasoning for trade: The 2nd round is where the receivers will start flying off the boards, the Texans see them going one by one and don't want to miss out on a prospect they like and decide to trade up

The Cowboys were hoping for Reid or Warford to fall to them at pick 47 but it didn't happen, they decide to move down and reobtain the 3rd rounder they lost.

2nd Round: (Pick 57) - Kyle Long OG : Similar to the receivers,I believe there will be a run on interior lineman starting from the early 2nd with Warford,I believe Long's inexperience will be the deciding as to why he drops to us.

3rd Round: (Pick 95) - Brian Schwenke OC : While my man-crush on Schwenke doesn't rival that of Des,I still like him a ton.Schwenke would be a perfect fit in our ZBS and offers the versatility to play any of the interior positions.(He'd easily win our starting center position in my eyes)

*Alternate Choice: Travis Frederick OC - Wisconsin (This isn't part of my 'official' entry, but thought I'd add whom I feel they'd grab if Schwenke was to get taken earlier than this.)

4th Round: (Pick 114) - JJ Wilcox S : For some reason,I truly believe the team will be content with Johnson and Church going into training camp (with Will Allen as an "emergency" veteran plug and play if things look really bad), 'unless' a player of value was to fall to us,i.e Reid in the 2nd.

5th Round: (Pick 151) - Chris Faulk OT : Developmental RT of the future.

6th Round: (Pick 185) - Michael Williams TE :

What I think actually happens:
18 ) Vacarro (Howls ensue) or Sly Williams
47) Gio Bernard (Torches are lit)
80) Frederick (but nobody notices because they're still pissed at picks 1 & 2)
114) Jordan Hill (or J J Wilcox)
151) Dion Sims
185) Stansly Maponga

What I would love to see happen, but would melt the brains of the DCRA
Tavon Austin slides to 14, Dallas trades picks 18 and 80

14) Austin
47) Pugh
114) Josh Evans
151) Brandon Magee
185) Zac Stacy

@Tha King Christmas doesn't come in April, but I'd be ecstatic with that draft. Like wouldn't be able to stop laughing with that draft.

1) Sheldon Richardson
2) Justin Hunter
3) David Quessenberry
4) J.J. Wilcox
5) Bennie Logan
6) Knile Davis

Definitely not my wish list, but not a complete failure. I really hope Cooper/Warmack falls to 18.
