Ok, someone mentioned a "competition" of sorts, so as the day of days approaches I have an idea. First I'll post what I'm thinking, we can tweak it today and be ready tomorrow.

This is what I envision. Go with the current draft picks (unless a trade happens early).

1 pt for positional correctness
3 pts for player correctness

What else should we add adjust?

How about points for correct player in a different round, or would you still get the 3 points for correct player even if it was a different round than the round the player was picked to go in?

I'm thinking like a "mock draft" Not just round 1, no A. B. C. picks.

This is all in. If a guy falls and ends up a pick in a different round I think we could go with 2 pts.

We need to get some of the rules lined out on positions.
Do we just go with OL instead of T or G/C to reduce confusion. Such as B. Jones that is listed on draft sites as T/G/C
Same with DL instead of NT or DE.
And LB instead of ILB or OLB in case the player can play more than one position.
People playing would only get position points for one position such as DE/OLB would be considered LB not DL for position points.

DT58 can decide he got the contest started.

I'm ok with the following

I'm ok with the tweener positions like OLB/DE, or OC/OG. Jones presents an interesting dynamic because of versatility, but I think most of us would see him as an interior guy for our team.

If someone has a better idea, speak now, I'm flexible.

That is a heck of a lot less challenging. Plus then you can use rumors etc.
