Listening to Jerry and Garrett streaming on dc.com.

They are also convinced that Randle is a direct clone of Murray.

They like the double and triple TE sets as it helps with blocking on the line and running the ball.

They keep making comments about how to get Romo more time. I think we are getting another OL in FA.

They are obviously high on Williams.

Our top 3 picks are honestly the most awkward guys ever... Laughing

Wow..

I think Calahan is going to be calling plays. Jerry just said that these picks on offense were made to schematically change the offense.

Did/does B Cal run a lot of 2 TE sets? I dont remember his Nebraska or Oakland days.

Jerry just said it again:

"Fredrick and maybe someone else added to the line will make it a lot easier on Romo"

Seems evident we are upgrading the line some more.

Who else are we going to add at this point?

Winston..? That doesn't get me exicted at all.

You know, if nothing else, this draft proves that Redball has influenced Jerry. Jerry in 20 years of GMing never drafted a OL in round 1. After 3 years with Redball, he has taken 2. Little things are shifting.

More draft musings.

This wasn't a desperate draft. They weren't trying to fill a whole bunch of needs. They were clearly forecasting for the future (TE, WR, NCB, S). Maybe Redball's seat is cooler than I even though.

Brandon Moore would be a big upgrade to what we have at guard now.

Gosh. That was an embarrassing way of ending the draft.

The thing that still stuns me is...

Our WR coach was the Head Coach of Tennessee and knew all those players intimatly - no one was drafted or signed from that ilk.

Our Head Coach has a great relationship with the Head Coaches of Florida, LSU and Alabama. And no one was drafted or signed from that ilk.

But our o-line coach has a direct pipeline to Wisconsin, and we took our first round o-lineman from there...

Things that should make people go "hmmmm"

I would assume so. He is robotic like BB. Wish he had a bit more Saban in him. Push Saban enough and boy oh boy.

Does he? Who does he know that is still in Wisconsin?
