Damn drewy is on top of this, Gardener is really interesting though...could be a good find if he's not too stupid to pick up a playbook (sounds mean, but when the guy failed to qualify for a real college 3, count um, 3 times, its a valid question). Definitely has the measurables. Probably a PS guy though.

? Like the 2nd person we picked up was a massive NT, and it looks like we may have gotten another one (that i put out there in FFMDII) Jardeau from South Carolina (i think its Jardeau, maybe some other name...lol)

Virginia Tech OT Nick Becton

Geathers is 6'6". I can't see him playing NT. Too tall.

I don't understand everyone's hate on this draft. Were we supposed to get 7 guys who were going to come in and contribute immediately?

The first 3 rounds, we got first round talent in all of them, if we didn't take these guys, who would you want? We potentially get the best WR in the draft in the 3rd, we get a starting ILB in the 2nd and we get a starting RT (everyone loves Clary) in the first. The draft talent dictated this, I'd love to see the opinion of where we "should" have gone with each pick.

When we hit those late round guys, 5th round and on, you trust the process, you trust that the guys know more about the team than we do, and that the media draft "guru's" know.

I'm a fan of what we did these 3 days, and I think with the open battles for NT and the O-Line openings, we'll have some top UDFA's come this way as well.

Courtney Gardner is a mini Cordarelle from what I've heard. Quite interesting.

That would be 7-time Pro Bowler, and former Bill, Steve Tasker's kid.

I've heard more comparisons to Blackmon. Was all set to transfer to Oklahoma, but had trouble getting the credits to transfer across so he just opted to declare for the draft.

Good article on him here.

not even sure you can call him "mini" anything. He's 6'3", 215 lbs. and runs in the 4.4's.
