Browns send their 1st, 3rd, and next year's 2nd to move up to #2 overall (Jacksonville) to select QB Geno Smith.

I have a feeling every single pick through the entire draft is going to make us ask one of three questions. 1) Why are we reaching for "so-and-so" 2) Who is "so-and-so" and 3) Why are we drafting position A when we have huge needs at position F and postiion Q...we don't even need another bleeping A....aahhhhhhh what the bleep, I bleeping hate being a bleeping Browns fan bleepin bleep bleeper bleeing bleep ahhh bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep Laughing

i have a bad feeling that the Browns are super high on Barkley. trade back into 1st or early 2nd for him. i think the trade will involve both a future pick and a player (Rubin/Sheard?)

either that or same scenario for Nassib or Manuel, which i wouldn't be as pissed about.

My shocker is that we will make a successful trade down into the 10-16 range and pick up a 2nd rounder.

And at that pick somewhere 10-16 we take a player most of us didn't think would slip, maybe Milliner.

Yes, a shocker things go seemingly well for once.

I do think that might be the shocker: exceptional value. I think a few players might fall farther than expected. I have a hard time believing we won't get a trade deal done for a second this year, if not for another first next year. I'm really hoping for the business savvy part of the FO to come through big in the first year. I've liked free agency, with the exception of the Kruger pickup (he better be [inappropriate/removed] awesome this year). But there is nobody else I want more then Tyrann Mathieu, so it's a win if we get him imo, and then like everybody else we pick, whoever they are, they'll have to prove themselves on the field.

i know, i know. but as OP stated there will be atleast one "WTF" move by the Browns during the draft. especially with Lombardo running the show.

What do you truly expect from someone who drafted JaMarcus Russel and a kicker in the 1st.

I expect anything and nothing surprises me.

Far be it from me to defend Lombardi, but the guy who did the 2 things you list above wasn't Lombardi. It was Al Davis.

How about Touchdown Tommy in the top 10?

Uhhh... that was Mumbles.

Seriously, I'm not defending Lombardi. Pretty much every draft he's been a part of has been dismal. I don't think he's actually ever been in charge of a draft before, so we might see new heights of dismaliciousness. And it all starts tomorrow night, baby!!11!!!!!111!1!!

Shocking moment would be for me anyways, would have to be we draft and fill our positions of need with BPA. Like trading back to pick up a second. Get the best safety (Vaccarro) then second round go corner. and so on.
