Need starter

DE: Pass rushing specialist

Could use upgrade

RB: Capable starter, bigger back, who can pass block
S: The 3 guys we have are all cover safeties, I think we might look for a bigger guy that can cover Tight Ends and tackle well.
MLB: Elway doesn't value this position, but if there's a guy available on day three that's an upgrade over Bradley, we could take one.

Depth needed

WR: We don't have any depth at Receiver. I think we might look at a back up who can play special teams and develop him in case we lose Decker.
OT: I don't trust Chris Clark. Clady has had two major injuries and if he gets hurt in-season, that could be the end of our superbowl run.
Pass rusher: As well as a starter we need rotational guys.
CB: We have 3 good corners and 2 decent backups but 2 of the top 3 are unsigned through next season and the third is old and potentially declining.

Remember this is what I expect the Broncos brass to do, not what I think will happen.

Round 1, pick 28
Round 2, pick 58
Round 3, pick 90
Round 4, pick 125
Round 5, pick 161
Round 7, pick 234

San Francisco receives: Round 1, pick 28 --- Round 4, pick 125
Denver receives: Round 2, pick 34 --- Round 3, pick 93 --- Round 6, pick 180

With the 34th pick in the 2013 NFL draft, the Denver Broncos select...

I won't be happy with the pick but in John Fox we have a head coach that really values the Running Back position. Lacy is a talented runner and should be a day one starter, with Knowshon Moreno and Willis McGahee cut. Lacy stock seems to be rising but I don't see him going in the first. After the small trade back the Broncos pick up the draft's top rated runner at the top of the second.

With the 58th pick in the 2013 NFL draft, the Denver Broncos select...

This is a guy I've been beating the table for since day one. Very underrated prospect in my opinion. Should beat out Ayers on all 3 downs at RDE, but at very least he's a far better pass rusher.

With the 90th pick in the 2013 NFL draft, the Denver Broncos select....

Fox and Del Rio like to use a lot of rotation at the safety position. Last year Jim Leonhard so a lot of time as a 3rd safety as well as Moore and Adams. The scheme itself relies on two cover safeties. I think Rambo might actually see some time as a 3rd Safety/extra LB in the nickel situation, where his primary job is to cover the Tight End. SS is becoming a more important position imo and Rambo will be important in the Red Zone. Mike Adams and Quinton Carter will compete to partner Rahim Moore as the starters.

Arizona receives: Round 3, pick 93
Denver receives: Round 4, pick 103, round 5, pick 140

With the 103rd pick in the 2013 NFL draft, the Denver Broncos select..

This is one of those mid round picks that probably is too popularly mocked to actually happen. I think there's going to be a run on receivers at the top of the 4th round. Vernon will be the 4th man this season and hopefully groom him into a starter when Welker retires.

Houston receive: Round 5, pick 161 --- Round 6, pick 180
Denver receive: Round 4, pick 124

I've seen this kid mocked in the seventh round a lot, let me tell you, we can't afford to wait that long. One thing Elway has shown a tendency to do in the mid-late rounds is to draft guys that are similar players from the same college as guys we already have. We did this with Malik Jackson/Robert Ayers and Danny Trevathan/Wesley Woodyard. Giordano will be the backup to Okafor and a lot of his college sacks came on rollouts forced by Wolfe. This pick really makes a lot of sense to me.

With the 150th pick in the 2013 NFL draft, the Denver Broncos select...

This draft is so deep at Corner, that some good players will be available in the really late rounds. I think we keep 6 on the roster this year.

With the 234th pick in the 2013 NFL draft, the Denver Broncos select...

I have a feeling Elway is going to double up at RB. Fox believes in using a system of RB's, and I feel like Ronnie Hillman is the only guy safe on the roster as of now.

Isn't CJ Anderson one of those dudes that replaced Terrell Davis? If so top 5 RB of all time.
