No QBs, no pass rushers, no LBs for #jaguars in Dave Caldwell's first draft.

Yea, I'm curious to see how that works out for him. He must have a plan for Branch

Another DB...

What about:

WTF?
Are we really complaining about continuing to shore up the abysmal secondary with a 7th round pick?

We'll bring in others to compete with UDFAs.

They might as well not even bother bringing in UDFA QB's as they have made it loud and clear that they are going with Gabbert even when they said that there was going to be competition.

You wanted them to reach for a QB?

As soon as the draft ends, if I'm Caldwell, I get Scott and Marve on the phones, and I tell them that I have an offer for them that no team in the NFL will give them, that they are invited to an open QB competition that they can win themselves a starting spot in the NFL this September if they sign with us.

If I'm any of those three QBs, that's all I need to hear. Give me the lowest contract you can give me and fly my down to Jacksonville right away.

Tyler Wilson, Landry Jones, Matt Barkley and Ryan Nassib was not a reach in the 4th imo. I would have taken any of them over Ace Sanders especially when you take shoelace the following round. All those guys could have push Gabbert to at least think he had competition or make him swet for his job, Gabbert now home taking a nap.

Agreed I really wanted Tyler Wilson I like that kids Leadership i've liked him every since I saw him sub in for Mallet in what i believe was the Auburn game his sophomore season. But maybe he showed Gus and Caldwell something through the recent minicamp.. I hope with better protection he pans out also I believe that they need to design the offense around the things Gabbert's good at put him in more shotgun and hurry up type of offense one thing I like about Gabbert is that he takes care of the ball when its flight.. I will say one good thing about B.G.

i'm a lil upset about the no DE, QB or LB.. I really hope at least 2 of these DBs outside of Cyp who I expect to be a Pro Bowl type in a min of 3 years I hope Gatz, McCray, or Harris ends up being solid starters on the outside for us I don't need them to be all pro if one ends up being a all pro type all the better but just be solid and reliable and don't get their doors blown off.. and make it to at least 14 games a year I will be pleased.
