Adam Scheftler is reporting that the bills are bringing in Karlos Dansby. He is getting older but he still plays at a high level and this will answer the ILB position.

I like this move and hope we can sign him. I think he could still be more than a serviceable starter and his veteran presence will help Bradham and Sheppard.

Get it done Nix

Plus his strongest attribute is against the run which is the bills worst right now.

I hope he signs!! He would definitely sure up the run defense. IMO he would be a 2 down LB with us.

The Bills certainly realize that LB is one of their bigger needs. Let's say they sign Dansby along with Manny Lawson and Marcus Dowtin... what do you think they will do for LB in the draft? With only six picks and a plethora of needs, it's going to be a tough few days.

I think the bills realize they will be focusing on offense this draft and qb wr will be the top 2 picks. the bills need an instant starter at inside by having dansby it will give time to groom the young guys on the team and allow the bills to draft a player later on that can be groomed as well.

Believe it or not, if you told me before UFA started that we would sign QB Kevin Kolb, OLB Manny Lawson, and LB Karlos Dansby, I would of definitely called the offseason a success, especially when you count the cuts we made.

Agreed. I think to finish it off we need a solid draft and resign Byrd long-term. I would then be 100% happy with it.

+1 here

I could see Fans by be good 2 down thumper in the middle. And I agree, looks like were going offense early on which I'm cool with

I agree. I think Branch was a good under the radar signing too.

Still visiting today, hopefully his price drops (his visit to the Bengals was nothingmore than them using him) so he's humbled and takes the price he deserves, not the top half MLB money he wants.

Hopefully we get him and don't overpay, but even if we overpay a bit it'd be fine with me because he addresses our biggest need.

Haha I like your reasoning. I hope we don't over pay him. I hope we land him even if we have to over pay ill be okay with it.

Report bills waiting until after the draft to decide to sign him or not.
