Where did you read that from? Earl Thomas was on twitter saying he hoped Dashon Goldson was going to break the bank when he signed with the Bucs.

This signals the end for Browner imo.

He'd have to take a very team friendly deal to stay here. The CB market was very good for teams this offseason, perhaps that trend will continue for a guy that will be older than 30 by the time he's on the market. I don't think he'll see a big deal with his style and age.

10 posts bahaha....pathetic

I love this move. It's nice to have the hardest hitter in football for the next 5 seasons. So good to know that our team is going to be competitive for years to come

He says they're going to try to make it happen so they all stay together.

Revis' deal has no guarantees. If Revis took guarantees, he'd be making noticeably less per year.

I agree. He will command top dollar but that's because of his production. I expect him to sign a deal that is favourable compared to his value to the team.

I really don't get why people think that Sherm will be difficult to re-sign with the team. I'm sure that he will take a slightly lesser contract (compared to market value) to stay with the head coach who gave him a chance and the team which everybody loves to play for.

Sherm loves to talk but he is not some egotistical maniac. He's a hard worker and I would love to see him hold out for a new deal.

I think that ET has an extra year on his rookie deal so he will be done this next offseason probably. Same with Sherm.

Probably. None of the other key re-signings are eligible yet.

When does Okung's deal expire?

I'd want priorities to go

ET
Sherm
Okung

Wilson would get a new deal when he's eligible.

Russell Okung got a 6 year contract so he is a few years to go on that deal.

Earl Thomas got a 5 year contract. Richard Sherman cannot be touched until the end of this season.

The team has some leeway.

Because of Sherman's ego? Thinking you're the leagues best corner is not synonymous with wanting to be paid. If we're going to make assumptions on the dudes character, let's at least incorporate what we know about him as a teammate

When Richard Sherman's contract comes up we should cut Percy Harvin and free up cap space. A guy like Percy Harvin is just a complete luxury, especially on a team that already has a solid WR/RB group. Keeping the core players, keeping the pro-bowl secondary intact should be the priority. I think it is possible.
