I will preface this mock by saying that I think Itzik wants to get as many picks as he can possibly squeeze out of this draft. We have talked about it a ton and I really do believe that the top 10 of this draft are closer to the next 40 or so players than i have seen in any draft ever.

Pre Draft Trades- Obviously Revis deal
Chris Ivory for our 5th

Draft Day Trades- Jets Trade #9 to the Vikings for #23 and #25
Jets Trade #13 to SF for #31 and #34

First 13 picks
KC- OT Luke Joeckel
Jax- OLB Dion Jordan
Oak- DT Shariff Floyd
Det- OT Eric Fischer
Cle- CB Dee Milliner
Ari- OT Lane Johnson
Buff- QB Ryan Nassib
Minn- WR Tavon Austin
Tenn- DT Star Lotulelei
SD- OG Jonathon Cooper
Mia- OLB Jarvis Jones
SF- DE Ziggy Ansah

Our Picks

#23- S Jonathan Cyprien
Really fits what Rex likes in a Safety, a SS who also has some FS skills and range
#25- WR DeAndre Hopkins
Might be the best traditional WR in this draft. Really hope he didn't smear poo
#31- QB EJ Manuel
The more tape i watch of this kid the more he is my favorite QB in the draft. Has all the tools, throws a great ball, can make all the throws, is big strong and athletic, and seems like a smart kid
#34- OLB Jamie Collins
Debated between him and Sio Moore here, decieded to go with Collins as i believe he is the smoother athlete
#39- OG Larry Warford
Big strong guy, can be a rock in between Brick and Mangold
#72- TE Travis Kelce
He is as talented as the top 2 TE's out there, I think getting him here is a steal.
#106- OLB Trevardo Williams
Another guy that is athletic and can get to the QB
#141-(traded for Ivory)
Love it
#178- WR Ace Sanders
With Ivory joining the team i think McKnight could see the door. We grab Sanders who can instantly do KR/PR, and possibly develop into a back up slot guy
#215- DT Lawrence Okoye
Big freak of nature that can spend a few years on the practice squad and hopefully develop into a player.

I don't like Hopkins and I think the Vikings trade is not realistic but if it were to happen I don't mind it.

No way in hell the jets are taking a quarterback that early in the draft let alone this year

Love this draft.

Not sure if Warford is a good ZBS fit though.

I agree with that on Warford, but he matches what we seem to be interested in. Signing Colon, and having Ducasse, we seem to want big beastly OG's

I really do love the idea of picking Cyp. If Idzik is trying to recreate a secondary similar to Seattle's, I think Cyp should be high on his list. He brings that physical/Energetic presence this defense need IMO.

Ilike it too but I do agree with Green24 about Warford not being a good fit for us

If we had to take a Qb that early EJ is the one I want

Well, Green24 is wrong. We don't run ZBS. Gaping system with several zone assignments.
