Jets trade Derelle Revis for 2013 1st, and 2014 conditional 3rd

Jets trade #9 to Cincy for 1st (#21) + 2nd (#37)= Trade value is dead equal at 1350, they move up for one of the LT's that fall (my guess is Lane Johnson, although i've heard Fluker has broken his way into top 10 consideration)

1. (via TB) Barkevious Mingo, DE/OLB, LSU

1. (via Cincy) Tank Carradine, DE/OLB, Fla. State

2. (via Cincy/Oak) Jonathon Cyprien, S, Florida International

2. De'Andre Hopkins, WR, Clemson

3. Travis Kelce, TE, Cincinnati

4. Alvin Bailey, OG, Arkansas

5. Zac Stacy, RB, Vanderbilt

6. Adrian Brushell, CB, Louisville

7. Reggie Dunn, WR, Utah

Personally, I think this would be a best-case scenario for the Jets. I think if they trade down they look to go OG/S/ or OLB with the 2nd pick....

In the draft i have, both cooper and vacarro are gone by #21... i think the safeties after Vaccaro fall b/c there's just so many good safeties with a 1-2 round grade and teams decide to wait untill the 2nd to get a safety

Also, i know my 1st 3 picks are defense, and there's a reason for that.... this is not a very good offensive draft early on, in fact its bereft of any top tier talent (Tavon would've been an easy second rounder in most other drafts)

And, since i dont expect to compete in 2013 anyway, i'd rather draft according to this drafts strengths, rather than reach for bigger needs (i.e. 1st round QB or WR)

That's a fantastic mock, although I don't think Cyprien makes it to the second round.

I do like it. We address needs and as you said we utilize the draft strengths. That is important on a team with a lot of holes.

these are the rounds i consider the best spot to get talent for positions we need:

qb- the 8th round (udfa) or 2014
rb- 4-6 round
wr- round 2/3
te- round 3 (kelce, mcdonald, escobar, one should b there)
og- round 1 or round 3/4

cb- round 1 or 5-7 (id rather groom a cb than draft another early)
Olb/de- round 1 (i want 1 or 2 of Mingo, Jarvis, or Carradine)
S- late 1st to mod 2nd (vacarro, ried, elam, swearinger, cyprien and thomas)
DT/NT- dont consider a need, UDFA for is
ILB- UDFA for us, depending on how idzik feels bout Davis
