I think the Browns did a great move getting Gordon for a 2nd rd pick. I think he would be the 1st WR in this class or at least neck and neck with Patterson and Austin but a bona fide first rounder. This was a good move by the Browns. |

Knowing what he can do he'd definitely be a first rounder and very possibly the first WR off the board. _________________ You show me a good loser, and I'll show you a loser

Obviously with the advantage of seeing his game at the NFL level already it is pretty clear that he would be a Top 4 selection in this draft. I would say only Luke Joeckel, Eric Fisher and Dion Jordan could make a case to be selected over him.
No matter how you slice it or what prospects you are high on this year there is no way around saying the Browns hit on Josh Gordon. No player who will be available at #39 will have the immediate impact or long term potential as Josh Gordon. _________________

With hindsight he's a Top 10, maybe even Top 5 player. #1WR in the class. |

At the very least top 5. He's on par with picks like AJ Green and Andre Johnson. |

What irks me is that the new front office isn't happy with him...
WithOUT hindsight I'd say he'd be take. At the top of the 2nd. _________________ 2013 Browns Forum HOF |

the only guys I'd take in front of him are Ansah & Joeckel...and thats only iff my team needed a LT or pass rusher. _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

Fisher played DOWN to the level of the MAC at times, so I'd not be inclined to agree.
And Jordon is an athlete posing as a football player with durability issues. He is not even in my top 10 _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

Based on our previous FOs, Gordon is worth 3 1st rd picks! J/k, I'd put him top ten as a pick. Top 5 in terms of talent. It's hard to compare players who play different positions. Some teams draft based on need, or a combo of need/talent, hence the disparity between talent ranking and draft ranking. _________________

Well, what could we get for him in terms of 1st round draft picks this year? I don't think anyone would give a top 5 pick for him in a trade. If I had to guess I'd say 20th-25 overall. You pretty much know what you are getting now, the positives and the negatives. His value is more than the 20th pick, but GM's like to gamble and someone at, lets say, 12 may rather take their chance on getting someone who could be better, although obviously they would be taking the chance that the player busts or just never reaches Gordon's level
I know that is a different question with a different answer, but sorry that is what you are getting from me because I don't play by your rules. _________________
