The former Ravens kicker made 24 of 27 kicks last season and added 46 of 48 extra points.

Wanted to use this GIF for awhile now, forgot about it during the Harvin trade thread i posted:

Solid resigning, was a very good kicker last year. Was almost thinking they'd go into the year with Carson Wiggs as the sole kicker. Laughing

SO happy we got Hauschka back. He was huge for us last season and it didn't look like we were going to resign him for awhile. Great news.

Doesn't have the strongest leg but he is reliable, happy to have him back.

Who would it have been? Ryan Longwell?

This is a good move for Seattle for multiple reasons:

1) First and foremost, he played for the Vikings a few years ago
2) He's reliable
3) He's just an overall good player, who's been on the team for awhile now.

Nice job Seahawks. Your move 49ers.

1. Probably would've been Carson Wiggs, who was already on the roster.

2. He was only on the team for two years, he was claimed off waivers in 2011.

1. Never heard of him.

2. I didn't necessarily mean he's been on the team for a long time. He's been on the team long enough though. He'll be entering his 3rd year with the team. He's one of Seattle's own players, and typically teams like to build "continuality" and resign their own guys.
