Well ladies and gentleman, boys and girls it is officially time to begin the Annual Arizona Cardinals Mock Draft Challenge!!! This thing has been something of a big event the past few years, making legends of mere mortals and I am now ready to get year eight back and cracking. Past champions of this event include Dr. Gonzo, Metal, Khodder, FitzNBoldin, Cardinalsfan, Duane1947, TBus and our reigning champion . Our reigning champion will also be attempting to become the first poster in the history of the Mock Draft Challenge to go back-to-back.

I cannot find who won last season, if anyone knows point it out to me;

I am going to make a couple of changes to the tried and true process this year, but you guys should all recognize the format.

1. One mock draft per member
2. The final mock needs to be posted by exactly one hour before the actual draft starts
3. You don't need to explain the pick when you make your mock
4. The mock needs to be a full seven rounds.
5. You can post your mock, but then edit it, all the way up until the deadline
6. Also post the position you think they'll go next to the pick, you may put a LB for their pick but deep down if you think they go WR, put that and you could get points.
7. All players are to be listed by their college position as to avoid any confusion associated with tweener players (Mingo will be a DE, Jordan will be an OLB)

Point system
If you get the player right - 5 points
If you get the position right - 3 points
If you have a player going in a round, but he is picked at any other time by Arizona - 1 points

Here is an example of how it will go..

Round 1 - Eric Fisher - OT- Wisconsin- OLB
and the actual pick is ..... Dion Jordan - OLB - Oregon ... you get 3 points because you put the position they could go next to your pick. If the pick was Eric Fisher you would get 5 points.

Another example..

Round 2 - Larry Warford - OG - Kentucky - OG
and the actual pick is ... Larry Warford - OG - Kentucky ... you get a total of 8 points because you had both the player and the position you think they will go.

Another example...

Round 3- Tyrann Mathieu - CB - LSU - CB
and the fifth round pick is ... Tyrann Mathieu - CB - LSU ... you get 1 point for naming a player selected by the team but in a round different from your actual prediction.

So lets get those entries flowing in. Any Questions ask.

Just getting my place in the lineup.

To be edited many times between now and Friday.

1 Kiki Mingo DE LSU - OL
2 Jonathan Cyprien S FI - OLB
3 Landry Jones QB OU - LB
4 Tyrann Mathieu CB LSU - LB
5 Knile Davis RB ARK - WR
6 Nick Kasa TE COL - RB
7 Brandon Jenkins LB FSU - DB

I really hope we trade back this year and get some more picks, Graves never did it and it annoyed me, hopefully Keim listens to Licht who channels Bellichick.

Don't forget to add a fall back position; if you don't put a secondary position I will assume the position of the player you selected is the fall back position too.

Khodder I have a question. If the first pick was Fisher wouldn't it be 5 points not 10 points? The max you can get for any pick is 8 points right?

You are indeed correct; I just adjusted the scoring down from previous years.
