Looks alot better than what I was imaging. 2nd meeting with the Falcons on TNF, then meeting the Seahawks on MNF. Thats the real rough spot I see so far. Otherwise, not too bad.

The nfc west was weak a few years ago, but not anymore. Don't count out St Louis
Fischer is building well.

Nice. Cold weather/bad weather games are at a minimum. I like starting off against the Failclowns as well.

Primetime against the Dolphins? Confused whatever. You're welcome Miami.

Non-existent honestly, we go to Chicago and New England early in the year when it'll likely still be in the mid-60s/low 70s and the New York game will be in early November so it shouldn't be THAT bad.

The worst part is playing San Fransico then at Atlanta only 4 days later. At least we have a 10 day rest/practice before going to Seattle. Tough few weeks. YIKES!

I think we'll actually beat Seattle. Other then MAYBE Bellichick, Payton is the best gameplanner in the league. Give him 10 days to get ready for Seattle? They're done for.

Granted all teams want to win their home opener...but with Payton returning at home against the biggest rival of the division, you can book it that they are gonna come out big and make this a huge statement game to the rest of the league.

I think you guys will go 11-5 and win the NFC. I have the Saints as my NFC favorites.

Week 1: Home vs Falcons - W (34-27)
Statement game couldn't be any larger of an understatement. The Saints, fresh off a hugely disappointing season, have their head coach and their swagger back, and are home turf versus our biggest division rival... The stage has been set.
Bold prediction - Mike Smith shows his "brilliance" in playcalling yet again, costing the Falcons a win.

Week 2: Away vs Buccaneers - W (35-13)
We travel to Tampa, facing a Bucs squad that doesn't have things figured out JUST yet. Major props to Schiano (aside from the victory formation crap he kept pulling), he's done one heck of a job trying to get that team back into contending shape. Granted, they aren't there yet, and the Saints roll to an easy victory.
Bold predicition - Mark Ingram vs. Doug Martin becomes the main storyline of this game by halftime, with each topping 125 yards.

Week 3: Home vs Cardinals - W (21-17)
I've learned better than to count out ANY NFC West teams we play against... Ever. This teams has a massively underrated defense, and that will come into play heavily against the Saints, as they won't see a huge offensive day. However, we'll do enough damage to get the W.
Bold prediction - Malcolm Jenkins pulls another hustle play, and chases down Fitzgerald to save a TD in the 3rd quarter.

Week 4: Home vs Dolphins (MNF) - W (41-14)
Need i justify the W, or the score? No, i think not. Miami is nowhere near the level that the Saints are. It'll be a field day for Brees and our offense.
Bold prediction - Our defense scores... and not just once, but TWICE. Shocked

Week 5: Away vs Bears - W (31-20)
We generally do well against the Bears, and we turn Bushrod into a turnstyle with Butler, Galette, and whichever pass-rusher-supreme we decide to draft.
Bold prediction - Cutler throws another fit on the sideline during the 4th quarter, after being sacked 5 times.

Week 6: Away vs Patriots - L (45-41)
I watched an NHL fight between Patrick Bordeleau of the Colorado Avalanche and Brian McGrattan of the Calgary Flames. Literally, an all-offense slugfest, no defense whatsoever. THAT'S how this game plays out in my mind. Two of the greatest QBs of this era in a slugfest until the end. Unfortunately, i see a late TD from the Pats as the game winner.
Bold prediction - Devin McCourty undercuts a route en route to a pick six that ends up coming back to haunt us on the scoreboard.

Week 7: BYE

Week 8: Home vs Bills - W (45- 14)
Kolb, by this point, will have rescended his Super Bowl talk, and the Saints will just reinforce the point. Easy game in which we go up early, then just run the ball at them until they're sorry.
Bold prediction - Ingram's second huge game, in which he puts up 150+.

Week 9: Away vs Jets - W (31-21)
Defense handles the load in this one against an incredibly sub-par Jets offense. Closer than it should be.
Bold prediction - Another TD by Keenan Lewis, giving him his second of the year.

Week 10: Home vs Cowboys (SNF) - W (35-31)
For some reason, these games are always a thriller. Really, the Cowgirls have no business competing with us. And yet, all of our games are close, unfortunately including this one.
Bold predicition - We win the game on a Martez Wilson scoop-and-score.

Week 11: Home vs 49ers - L (38-35)
Tough loss, but against, literally, the most stacked NFL roster. We make it competitive, but our bid for OT falls short off Hartley's leg.
Bold prediction - Both teams combine for 800+ yards of offense.

Week 12: Away vs Falcons (TNF) - L (28-24)
ROUND TWO. We're coming in 4 days after losing to the 49ers. We look flat as crap in the beginning, but turn it around in the 4th to at least make the game a little competitive.
Bold prediction - We hold the Falcons ground game to less than 50 yards.

Week 13: Away vs Seahawks (MNF) - W (31-27)
Personally, this is my game of the year. Late, with both teams driving for playoff position, with the juggernaut that is the Saints offense versus the juggernaut that is the Seahawks defense. This will literally be the best game of the year.
Bold prediction - Graham accidentally/purposefully dunks on Richard Sherman during a TD celebration. Laughing

Week 14: Home vs Panthers - W (38-24)
First game of the year against the Panthers, and an easy victory. We enter the 4th quarter up 21 and give up a garbage TD.
Bold prediction - Martez Wilson gets at least 2 sacks.

Week 15: Away vs Rams - W (24-21)
Real nailbiter here. The Rams are a quietly solid team, and they give us a run for our money in a game where we're fighting with Green Bay and San Francisco for the number one seed.
Bold prediction - Ingram has his last "big" game of the year, posting 100 yards and 2 TDs.

Week 16: Away vs Panthers - W (35-27)
This time, it's a little closer. Cam Newton makes it a game, but by that point we've scored enough times to make sure we have the game in hand.
Bold prediction - Wilson gets another two, and does the superman over Cam.

Week 17: Home vs Buccaneers - W (31-17)
This time, a lot closer. The Bucs are fighting for their playoff lives, and we need a W to ensure the number one seed in the NFC. Bucs up 14-0 early, then we score 31 unanswered points in route to another division crown, the number one seed in the NFC, and home field advantage.
Bold prediction - Brees tops the 5000 mark again in this game, the fourth consecutive year he's done so.

Final record: 13-3.

Team leaders:
Passing- Drew Brees - 455 comp, 571 att, 5172 yds, 45 TDs, 15 INTs.
Rushing- Mark Ingram - 207 att, 949 yds, 11 TDs, 1 Fumble Lost.
Receiving- Jimmy Graham - 72 rec, 101 targets, 908 yds, 10 TDs.
Defense (Front Seven)- Martez Wilson - 91 tackles, 14 TFL, 7.5 sacks, 1 INT, 3 FF, 1 TD.
Defense (Backfield)- Keenan Lewis - 31 tackles, 2 TFL, 0.5 sacks, 6 INT, 1 FF, 2 TD.
