I am fine with early bye. I could see them being somewhere between 6-6 to 7-5 heading into the last 4 games. Having that Thursday game is almost a by week after the game. Hopefully they are at least 7-5 because that game vs the Packers in Dec is going to be very tuff.

Why?

It serves no benefit to have a bye week after 4 games.

I'm not underestimating the Browns. They have knocked the team out of the playoffs in 2009 and 2012 if you look at it. I think they have developed the ability to play the Steelers tight, and Horton knows this team. That defense has some talent. So does the offense. Weeden is a wildcard, but he wasn't half bad last year. If not for his age, people wouldn't be doubting him. That he's 29 won't hurt him next year.

Last years QB class wasn't just about the big three. Tannehill is another guy who could shut people up.

While I can see that a later bye week could be more beneficial, you never know for sure. The season Ben was out for the first four weeks, it was good to have it early. Again, they have that late Thursday game, so I don't see it as a big deal.

It does immediately follow the game in London, so there is a bit of logic and relief in that.

That said, I'd rather not play in London at all...ever and I'd take a later bye week 10/10 every time if it was a choice.

The Thanksgiving game against Balt is cool, but damn, I hate Thursday games regardless of holidays and opponents.

Quick Prediction:

W's: Titans, Bengals, Vikings, Jets, Baltimore, Bills, Lions, Browns, Dolphins, Browns

L's: Bears, Oakland, New England, Ravens, Bengals, Green Bay

Seems fair to me!! 10-6

Quick predictions never amount to much. There is no one on that schedule the Steelers couldn't beat as of right now. They should have been a playoff team last year based on talent, and could have won the Super Bowl based on TALENT. Great teams have a combo of chemistry, luck, and talent.

Right now I'm debating... I'm either going to the October 20th game at Heinz Field vs. Baltimore or ...... The November 3rd game @ The New England Patriots in Foxborough!

I wouldn't either! Confused Is this a "home" game for you guys? I with they'd just forget this whole playing in Europe thing once and for all.

I agree... HATE the Europe games, but at least it is NOT a home game for us. Minnesota is losing a home game.

Why does everyone here predict we lose to the Raiders? That can't happen now that we have Gradkowski! He and he alone was the "Steeler" killer.

Muah, ah, ah, aaahhhh...our plan is finally falling into place!!

But yeah, the early bye kinda blows, but we shall prevail, regardless. Not excited about playing GB, in GB, in Dec, RIGHT before Christmas...bah, humbug!
