now that is one hell of a game.. there'll be a couple more in candlestick, though Wink

I wonder if well do anything special. Maybe wear our throwbacks, paint the end zones the way they used to in the 80's, etc. something to commemorate it.

win

Send Seattle home empty handed or send seattle back on the road for the playoffs Very Happy

Not that they know anything at this point, but I was watching NFLN's schedule release program and 3/4 (O'Hara, Evans, McGinest) picked us to win the SB at the end of the show. With all the love that Seattle is getting, the players seem to be on our side.

good or bad, expectations for this team have never been higher

Schedule prediction

Packers- L
@Seahawks-W
Colts-W
@Rams-L
Texans-W
Cardinals-W
@Titans-W
@Jaguars-W
Panthers-W
@Saints-W
@Redskins-L
Rams-W
Seahakws-L
@Bucs-W
Falcons-W

12-4.

This is actually a tough schedule....Packers, Seahawks X2, Rams X2, Texans, Colts, @Saints, Falcons, Redskins. Maybe the Bucs if they get Revis. Not many gimme's, if any.

I think it's going to be mighty tough for the Pack to come in to Candle Stick for it's last home opener and beat a team that just lost a heart breaker in the Superbowl. Not to mention the fact that we might have the most talented roster in the NFL.

Revis on the Bucs makes that game a tad bit more difficult.

Nice! Only a few weeks where KC and SF are playing at the same time. Very Happy

I'm actually happy the schedule is not easy. This team tends to "get up" for games with a lot of hype and to not come out as hard for some "easier" games on the sched. We play better under the lights.

We probably won't put 40 on them this time. Laughing

gonna be a very fun season having two teams to root for... KC has made some very good improvements on an already talented young roster.. Hopefully they can get some good comp for Albert

Nope, but looking forward to a Crabtree/Revis battle. That secondary in TB is looking damn good but they still need another CB.

Hows TB's pass rush? Or Mark Barron, or their LB's in coverage? Or their #2 CB-onward. Etc. Revis and Goldson form a great duo but we can definitely exploit some weaknesses.

BTW i am legitimately asking, i really don't follow the Bucs, lol.

They lost a key player in Roy miller to Jags, I am sure he played a big part in why they were a top run def.

Don't keep up with them much but didn't hear much from their LBs from last year. The only two I can name are Davis and Mason Foster.

TB pass rush is a BIG Question because they lost Bennett to sea, Bowers may end up being a good player but his knee concerns me and he seems to make good friends with the law. They have Clayborn but I see him more of a run stuffing DE then a pass rusher.

last but not least, you only go as far as your QB takes you and reports from a few weeks ago was that their HC doesn't seem to have a lot of confidence in Josh Freeman.
