April 19 is deadline for restricted free agents to submit offer sheets. Steelers RFA NT Steve McLendon visited Green Bay topday.

He was given the low tender by the Steelers, which means it won't cost the Packers anything to sign him to an offer sheet but the contract.

Well at least they recognize they need to help Raji out.

Either with some sort of signing or in the draft TT needs to add another NT. Got to keep down Raji's snaps, playing way too many the past few seasons.

Would be a nice signing, wouldn't cost us any compensation other than the $$ figures. We need all the depth we can get along the D-Line with Neal, CJ Wilson, Pickett & Raji all free to leave after this season.

Gut tells me he's taking more DE snaps than NT snaps here.

After matching for Sanders, the Steelers pretty much have nothing and have to sign their pool of draft picks, they are also interested in Bradshaw. Basically if we want him, it won't take very much to get him.

Clearly unaware that White got the largest contract for a defensive player in NFL history.

Not sure why he's listed at 280, he has to be well over 300 lbs.

Good point, they only have about $725,000 in free cap room. Would like to see us bring him in, young, ascending player.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette considers it "preposterous" that Steelers NT Steve McLendon is listed at 6-foot-4, 280. McLendon weighed 280 as a junior at Troy, and is 325 pounds today.

They never updated. Way I hear it he played at around 325 this season.

Those are accurate between 15-25% of the time. Means nothing.
