This is why all the talk about the teams colluding cracks me up. If all the teams were working together to keep costs down the Packers wouldn't go out of their way (franchise tag is 9m) to pay Matthews well. Teams are just paying less for past production than they used to, and the veterans are salty about it.

for some reason when i view this from my iPhone it changes to different pictures Laughing

In a day where many players seem to get bloated contracts, nice to see one like this, where a player gets about what he is worth.

Yep. His average of ~$11 million/yr over the next 6 is fantastic. He gets $28 million over the next 12 months too, so he will be affordable at the end of it as well.
