Everything I've heard is we're opening on Monday Night football at Philly, or at least against Philly.

I'm reading that Carriker has said so, too.
Redskins VS Eagles opening Monday night.

What I don't know or read is, Where?

I'm hoping @Philly.

That means Super Bowl, baby!

Oh my goodness... Yes. Yes. I remember reading that somewhere. The last 4 teams to play Philly in their home opener has won the Super Bowl. Time to edit my prediction for this season. Wink

Sunday: Chiefs
Sunday: NY Giants
Sunday: @Raiders
Sunday: Lions
Sunday: Chargers
BYE WEEK
Sunday Night: @Cowboys
Sunday: @Eagles
Sunday: Bears
MNF: @Broncos (on Monday because its Shanny's first time back in Den)
Sunday: Eagles
Thursday Night: @Falcons
Sunday: Cowboys
Sunday: @Packers
MNF: 49ers
Sunday: @Vikings
Sunday: @Giants (candidate for flex game)

I think the Skins get no night games until after they have an early bye because they may not have RGIII until mid season. I also think we end up with at least 4 night games after the bye because RGIII may be back by then.

It would not shock me to see a situation like the one above, where half of our home games are burned before Griffin comes back. Another tiny (and unprovable) punitive slap at the Skins for the Cap workaround.

I am positive that the Giants will be the only NFC East opponent in the first 6 weeks, so that Goodells buddy Mara can try to get a leg up on the division without having to play Robert twice.

So my schedule above assumes that the league and Mara are still taking punitive and vindictive action against the Skins so that Maras team has a better shot at paying a home game for the Super Bowl.

Robert will have to face 7 teams on the road, and only 4 at home.

Also, I think you can ony have 5 prime time games on the schedule before flexing. And the contract with Fox says that they get to keep one of each game against a divisional opponent, so we can only play cowboys, eagles and giants once in prime time. At least that's my understanding.

I see us going no worst than our previous and defending NFC East Champs record of 10-6.

Wow. 5 Prime time games... Thoughts?
I wish they took it easier on us to start the season because RG3 is coming off his knee injury or might miss a few of those games.

Also... I predicted 5 prime time games!! Woohoo Very Happy Cool Applause Dancing Laughing

I look at that schedule and all I think is... Championship! Laughing Wink
