Hearing the Falcons are trying to trade up from number 30 in the first round, and not, obviously, for a quarterback.

You got beat by JonnyQuest. It's time to hang up the cleats, old timer.

Haha, I'm just giving you a hard time. I think it's worth a thread. Probably won't get a lot of views where it was posted.

Knowing Dimitroff, I don't think this should come as a surprise to anyone. I don't doubt that's it's true. The question is how far does he plan on trading up. Will we see another Julio type blockbuster to go grab someone like Milliner or a DE, or will it be a trade to move up a few spots to grab someone like Trufant?

I'm torn on whether I would rather have Trufant or Rhodes. Trufant seems more comparable to Samuel as a player, but Rhodes has a ton of upside as a corner.

Only trade up I can see is into the early 20's if Trufant, Rhodes or Werner fall that far. Wouldn't be mad about it. I think we should trade for Sheard. We could probably get away with giving up just a 3rd because he has no real place on the Browns.

The guys I suspect were trading up for are Milliner, Trufant, Rhodes, Werner, or Jordan. Maybe Richardson or Floyd as well.

Zero chance the Browns draft a QB at pick 4, or trade up for a QB.

And Matt Ryan is so great he has one playoff win.

Wouldn't have any problems at all by trading up 10 to 15 spots and losing a 3rd/4th to take a prospect Dimitroff really likes.

If only it were that easy. Pick #30 and #92 would get the Falcons around pick #23/24.

Well, should have said 5 to 10 spots then.

I could see them doing something along those lines. 30 and 92 to move up to the 23/24 range.
