If you select Other in the poll, please state the name of the other player and the reason why you selected them.

This is going to come down to Hopkins and Sylvester Williams for me. I'd like either pick, but I like Hopkins better, so I'll pick him.

I'd take Johnthan Banks over Taylor and Trufant.

Simple, we have a need and arguably the BPA would make us strong up the middle for years to come. Sly is my guy!

This should be an awfully interesting battle over the next 2 days between Hopkins and Williams. I personally went with Williams for 2 reasons:

1. He's the better player.
2. He fits one of the primary needs.

I also think the Vikings will have decent options at the WR position in the 2nd round. Even if Hopkins isn't there, it's quite likely that they'll be able to choose one of the following there:

Quinton Patton
Terrance Williams
Keenan Allen
Justin Hunter
Markus Wheaton

Any one of them would be alright, while the DTs get a little thinner after Williams and likely there would be less of a chance that a good DT could be taken in the 2nd rd, where you have a slim chance of maybe Kawann Short or John Jenkins being there.

Out of the choices I said other and went with Jonathan Banks, He's a great fit for this defense and would be an upgrade on the outside over Josh Robinson who I think would be better in the slot anyway.

With the depth at both corner and wide receiver I think defensive tackle would be the best course of action.

Agreed, depth at CB and WR is far greater than DT.

I love me some Desmond Trufant and would jump for joy if we grabbed him(and signed his brother Wink ), but there are still some really nice options to be had in RDs 2-3.

I dont see many DT's that could possibly give the same type of value/production that SLy could give us. If there are any they are likely to be gone by the time we pick again.

As much as I love Hopkins, WR is deep in comparison to DT. So Sylvester Williams gets my vote. Williams is a terrific all-around prospect that should be able to plug and play.

DeAndre Hopkins, Baby! The one player in the draft that I would hate to see on another team.

Should come in and be a solid #2 right away. He just does so many things well. Not many red flags about him as a prospect. I think the only other safe bet to come in and be a dependable target from the get go is Robert Woods, and I doubt he falls to our pick in the 2nd.

This is a big year for Ponder to prove he's the guy, and I want to give him every chance to succeed. Jennings and Hopkins on the outside, Wright in the Slot, and Rudolph at TE gives him a solid group of receivers.

I can't believe a WR that some think will be available 20 picks later (at least) is winning this poll.

DT is easily just as deep as WR. A guy like Bennie Logan is suppose to go late 3rd-early 4th. You can easily land a guy like Kawann Short or John Jenkins in the 2nd. Sorry but Patton, Hunter, etc. couldnt touch DeAndre Hopkins and they arent nearly as pro-ready. Hopkins gets my vote by a long shot
