Sucks, he did rework his throwing motion. He should stick somewhere.

I think he's better than Vick. He should get a backup job. Chiefs make sense since he was under Reid last year. Raiders, Cardinals, and Falcons could also all use a journeyman backup.

He'll find a job somewhere.

Decent back-up, shell shocked to hell and doesn't push it deep though. Shame too, really looked like he could be a good player in the league before he got concussed and he just never seemed to look comfortable after that. Always liked him though.

I'll always be rooting for Trent. Hope he finds a back up gig somewhere.

Strange timing, but I guess he doesn't really fit into Chip Kelly's offense. He'll catch on somewhere as a backup for sure.

We have a minicamp starting today, probably just wanted more reps for the other 4 qbs.

Well yeah... you think they would have decided this sooner. Gotta suck for Trent. Gets a call from the Eagles the night before saying "Yeah, don't bother coming in tomorrow. Have fun trying to find another job now that free agency has slowed down, heh heh heh..".

Haha. But he could get a call from a team that was looking to sign Tyler Thigpen. Laughing

Doesn't fit the offense, so it's no surprise.

Is that any worse then waiting to be the 4th/5th QB to be cut during camp? He had absolutely no future with the eagles with or without a QB being taking in this years draft. In my eye's the FO did him a favor with a head start to join another teams camp , learn the playobbok and fight for a spot. Not go through the motions as a eagle only to be cut 4 months from now.

If the Jets don't draft a QB, I wouldn't be opposed to them giving him a one-year deal which very little guaranteed money to compete with Garrard and Sanchez
