2012 thread

With the draft just two days away, it's time to put together your best mock draft and put it up against your fellow Jets fans.

There's only one rule: no changes can be made once the draft starts (8pm EST)

I thought about developing a points system that rewards for more than simply guessing the right pick.

Right player, right spot, right team - 3 points

Right player, wrong spot, right team - 2 points

Right player, right spot, wrong team - 1 point

Right trade - 1 bonus point

Right position - 1/2 point

If I missed something, or if you don't like the structure, let me know.

1st round mock? or a nyj mock draft?

i think doing a nyj mock contest would be more fun... who can guess the most jets picks lol especially since we r all jet fans

Both. It'll be an entire first round mock and then you'll have to name 10 players and you get a certain amount of points for each one that the Jets draft.

As the defending champion, I felt obligated to create this year's thread.

In that case, I had Ryan Nassib as number one. I don't want any extra work next year.

10 Jets picks? That is cheating especially we have Jets private workout list.

Maybe we could have two different contests. One thread for each contest.

Contest 1 - First Round
Contest 2 - Jets Draft.

Wow QJ, I'm not sure which is more ballsy - EJ Manuel #1 after a trade-up, or half the teams in the first round forgoing their first selection.
