Very few outside of Buffalo are saying the Bills had a really good draft.

Really? I've seen almost everyone question the Manuel pick, but i've also seen almost every "expert" say they loved our draft and it all depends on EJ.

Most "experts" say we reached on EJ, Kiko, and Goodwin so i see a lot of C or lower grades

Highest I'v seen anywhere is a C+ and that was being kind.

Well at least we only reached on 3 of our first 4 picks Laughing

The C- seems consistent with what other people are saying, as does the reasoning (Manuel and Kiko are reaches, Goodwin not a good pick, blah blah). The analysis makes sense to me as I've had mostly the same thoughts about the Bills draft as a whole. I'm just hoping Nix and Whaley are smarter than the pundits.

Yeah, I've kept from drinking the Kool-Aid, so Goodwin IMO was a definite reach, Kiko and EJ seemed like they came off up to a round early and Woods & Hopkins were the most appropriate picks value-wise...again, IMO. I don't hate the Duke Williams & Gragg picks, in fact I'm quite OK with them, and have no real opinion of the Meeks pick simply because he wasn't on my radar...at all. But what do I know, I sure don't get paid to make these kinds of decisions...unless I'm playing Madden. Wait, I don't get paid for that either! Laughing I'm hoping Whaley & Co. ultimately shocked the world (in a good way) with this draft. We'll see in 2-3 years.

Buffalo will be gaining $7.25 million in cap space tomorrow due to the release of Ryan Fitzpatrick. This will give them approximately $19 million in cap space ($1.65 million of which will go to E.J. Manuel). Hopefully this will help Buffalo in signing Byrd to a long term deal.
