Would have rather used that 7th on that girl kicker just for the honorary publicity stunt. Sorry Samgurl......

I dont think Sam would mind getting drafted to be a girl kicker. She can get paid, fired, meet TFB and get some autographs.
But I wrote a paper on him in mine junior year of HS. he had some rough times going on before he punched the guy. Which I still remember and understand that. The fans thing was a bit much for me even though he was provoked no excuse for that one.

So in his best year as a pro he struggled with short yardage, what is his role here again?

I asked the TB guys on FF. He has a lot of 1 yrd and 0 yrd gains. He is just tough to bring down when he gets going.

Don't forget he also punched out a teammate on the Titans before getting waived in 2010!

Wasn't that just the typical Training Camp bust up thing? Obviously with Blount it's a little more concerning, given his behavior in the past but I often see these TC bust up news stories that turn out to be nothing.

Quote:
In August 2010, Blount was involved in another incident in which he threw a punch, this time with a Tennessee Titans teammate, defensive end Eric Bakhtiari, a few moments after having his own helmet ripped off in practice. The play ended with some pushing and shoving, Blount threw a right fist, contacting Bakhtiari's facemask.

Blount quickly talked to Titans Head Coach Jeff Fisher before leaving the field. "He apologized, and I said he didn't have to apologize," Fisher said. "It's football. It's training camp." "His past is his past. Is that the first punch you've seen in camp this year? No. I'm not disappointed whatsoever. I have great confidence in the young man that he learned from his mistake, and he's very competitive. That's why we brought him in here is to watch him run the football like that," Fisher said.

I forgot he was a Titan tbh.

So Pats hate Boldin now? damn. Sad

Bolden isn't all that. I like this move. The guy has some talent and maybe its salvageable. What is a 7th for?
I agree. He is above average back when in shape. IMO This could be one of the best moves they make this off season

I don't think Blount will be on this team 3 years from now.

Or week 21 of this season.

Works for NBT, the Patriots will sign Moss before the season starts.
