With the draft less than two weeks away figured we should fire up a draft thread.

I will start it off by asking a question: When we trade for Revis odds are we end up giving up our 1st round pick. Odds are Barber comes back and it will probably be announced early next week. With a secondary of Barron, Goldson, Black, Revis, Barber, Wright, Johnson it's probably safe to say the secondary is covered. Who or what position is the next to be addressed starting with our 2nd round pick?

I think we can go a numbers of ways that would help our team. We could address the dt postion with a guy like Short or te postion with Ertz or lb with a guy like Greene/Brown or wr with a guy like Patton/Wheaton. Whos likely to be around that will be bpa or who best fills a need?

Wooooh wooooh. I wish...if we came away with

Austin,

Banks/a. Brown/amerson

Greene/Escobar/wreh-Wilson

Montori Hughes

Michael Buchanan

in the first 4 rounds I would literally jump for joy

Even with the possible additions we might have in the next week you would still select a db in the second?

Yea I mean I like brown or ogletree but I think someone like banks or amerson can be good players in this league so might as well draft a long term solution in rd 2 if you can because we still need a long term starter. Heck even a #2 this yr

Ya, Barber won't be back next season so if Wright plays decent this year he could move inside full time and have Revis and Banks on the outside.

That's what I'm thinking doesn't put too much pressure on him as a rookie and he'll be ready to shine next yr. also takes away a need for us next yr

I think Tavon is a safe pick, and I wouldn't mind him because VJax/Will give him a lot more room to operate... but though he can play a Percy Harvin role, he's not a Percy Harvin talent.

& I just don't see Ogletree's fit here
