Quote:
Havard Rugland has gone from YouTube phenomenon to member of the Detroit Lions.

The man best known as "Kickalicious" was signed Thursday, according to Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official website.

A native of Norway, Rugland, 28, joins David Akers as options to replace Jason Hanson, who ended his 21-year NFL career earlier this week.

Pretty awesome. The YouTube video is worth a watch.

This is... pretty funny. Probably won't beat out David Akers, but still funny.

I don't know much about kicking but why not? The guy was amazing in that video.

If the league ever adopts a corner kick, he should be set for life.

They have Kickalicious, Megatron, and Reggae Bush.
That's a swag overload.

Saw this video awhile back. I hope those kicks translate into NFL games, it'd make an awesome story.

YouTube sensations can get signed by an NFL team to play kicker. Can we stop pretending they are real football players now?

Same thing happens at QB. Are they not real football players either?

Anywho, he really should've wound up a Chief. Him + Alex Tanney = championship.

You have literally 0 knowledge of him as a kicker, and far less than the Lions.

He's never played football. How much more can they know than me?

Not the point though. Point is, people who have never played football can go to a park and master place kicking. Not real football players.
